Hi guys,
I downloaded and installed Origin on Windows 7 with no problem but it keeps telling me that I am not connected to the internet when I run it.

It´s the same problem described here: http://www.ausgamers...ead.php/3157013
There is some kind of official response on the Origin forums here http://forum.ea.com/...st/7576794.page but nothing works... every other program (msn, firefox,explorer, chrome, skype, steam, etc) connecst to the internet without a problem.

Am I the only one with this issue? Any fixes/suggestions?

Well, after many tries I found a solution...

My PC is connected directly to the moden using a r45 cable on the LAN port... somehow Windows mixed the adapters and created a conflic thinking that I was using the LAN port to connect directly to another pc... using the control panel, properties, and deactivating all the protocols for the LAN adapter (not the modem, but the adapter used for direct connection) fixed the problem. Now the icon and the network map looks normal so Origin "knows" that there is a "windows approved" connection to the internet.
