Lagrim had no memorable lines whatsoever. Didn't stop OP from buying it and loving it. Didn't stop it from getting GOTY. Didn't stop it from winning an award for 'best story' or whatever.

I don’t think I have ever seen a post where Atakuma has trolled. Just because someone isn’t satisfied with the dialog or writing doesn’t make them a troll. Odd how the word “troll” has been transformed into meaning “Disagreeing with the masses.”

The second half of the demo was a little more reassuring, and from the leaked beta I know that there is still some quality conversations that were cut from the demo, some involving Mordin. But yes, I would not go into ME3 expecting the game to be anything more than an attempt at a Hollywood blockbuster. Mac Walters has made his vision for the franchise pretty clear with ME2 and all the comics. He loves this kind of lazy drivel.

But I disagree with Atakuma.  Personally, I don't think anything can outcheese Benezia.  That busty old broad set the bar pretty high.

I am sorry but when the kid says you can't help me I was like what the hell then his death means nothing to me if I can not try to help him . Plus Anderson acting like a dumb ass claiming they don't know what it is really I mean 2 games and he still has no idea its the reapers . At least what I get from the demo is we will spend most of ME 3 collecting forces instead of actually fighting a war vs the reapers . they talk about a war but there is not much fighting a war and more about collecting allies really I did that in ME 2 I would like to go and kick the reaper's ass . Plus please god tell me its not shepard must prove sh*t to people again crap like in ME 1

oh please, that's what people always say. How much things get fixed after a demo? not much, take BF3 for example. In fact the release was worse then the demo/beta.

well to be fair, this is the same demo that leaked several months ago. So what we are getting today is something that was made months ago. Remember that bioware said they were slightly altering the story based on the horrible fan reaction to the leaked script. Who knows what else they changed.

bioware games have always had cheese and Benezia was just wow (plus her clevage puts ashley and miranda to shame)

uhm no, I don't know when the last time was you watched that show but uhm no.  
And none of these lines you people are bringing up are actually cringe worthy the only that was kinda bad was "we fight or we die, that's the plan".

Quality of writing is something that is legitimate to complain about.  I disagree, but it is a subjective issue.  I think you should include specific examples of bad quality that stood out to you in the demo and also explain what "good" quality writing actually is, maybe by giving a few examples there too.  That would make for better discussion.

It's hard to tell what people consider cheesy.

For example, I've seen people consider the Anderson line afer he saves shepard as cheesy but weirdly, I jsut thought it was well "normal".
