Devs, you guys should have copied every other multiplayer game out there and put in a 30 second auto start timer.
Every other game loby I go into gets abandoned by all the players because the leader walked away from his computer, or one of the players did and everyone else doesn't know how to vote to kick him out.
Please fix this for release.

I'd be happy with a 'most people vote to start' system. i.e. 4 people in a room, if 3 people are ready, the game will start. 3 people will require 2 to be ready. The 'problem' is that you unlock things in between rounds and 30 seconds is nowhere near enough to equip them. This can suck if you're playing with a great bunch of guys that you'd like to keep playing with.

I'd go along with that. Usually it's just one guy sitting there and everyone else just starts bailing out of the lobby.

This is a constant problem in RE5 Versus. I've dealt with it for three years now.
It'd be nice if ME3 avoided the same problem.

The other option is that you can kick people. But that's hidden away (you have to scroll right then kick them, however others have to vote too).

Yeah problem is there always seems to be a guy who just doesn't know or how to vote people off.
I'm thinking a 1 minute timer. That really should be enough for unlocks and perk selection. Hell, any time is better than nothing, you just can't count on people do stuff. (Being ready OR voting people out)

Agreed. Every time I get into a lobby with a Lvl 1 Soldier I know the game will never start.

I know this isn't solving the problem, but I exit the game then start one and invite the other players. They usually jump in, but yes. It is very frustrating.
