So, I was just wondering if anyone ever going to tell us the other ways of getting early access to multiplayer? Or if not, at least tell us that you decided against it after all? Last we heard was "hoojamboobery" and then radio silence.

I *think* the promise of "early access" was about the Facebook promotion for the singleplayer demo. I haven't seen any other means of early access for the multiplayer side.

There's a new app on the Mass Effect 2 facebook page. You just need to get a friend with an origin account to link with you and you get early access.

And if five of your friends finish the demo you get different recruitment packs.

Wish I had more friends that played ME.

How exactly does this work? I tried to do this with my brother and sent him a recruitment, and when he tries to click the "Play Now" link, the page merely refreshes.

By my understanding, you need to be friends over Facebook, and both have Origin accounts. I tried to do this with my little brother, but when he tries to accept my invite, he's instead redirected to Facebook's main page.

We've tried on two different computers with three different browsers. It makes no sense.

Ok I have one question, how do I tell what EA account my Gamer tag is linked too? I only ask because I have never needed too sign in.... its always just gone straight too and done everything.... This is the same email as my gamer tag but my in game content is not showing up so, I dont know. I was wondering if there was a way too tell what my gamer tag is linked too....

If you've played a recent EA game and connected to the internet, it should have asked you for your EA account information. That is your Origin account. When doing this, it automatically ties that XBL/PSN account to your EA account.

So, since I played DAII and logged into the EA servers, my XBL gamertag is permanently associated with my EA/Origin account.


Anyway, still getting redirected on my brother's account. This is getting frustrating. We really just want to try multiplayer before he has to go to bed.

make sure your facebook account and xbox live accounts are connected as well
then link your own orgin to your xbox live account then start the app i just got it to work with my brother

is your lil brother over 13 remember how ea is with online and people under 13 it didnt work for my 12 year brother but my 17 year old brother got in fine

Ok figured out which email linked with it, It was my old Email from my first Xbox, OK! that explains it.

I re-read the instructions and I think the invited friend actually has to be recruited into the app i.e. can't already have it.
