easily 20 to 25 hours is a lot of work. I was merely explaining why it did not take 3 days as he suggested. I still put a ton of work into that character, and it was the only class I was interested in using. I loved it. I spent tons of money buying those veteran packs and got screwed over countless times. But eventually I finally got some good weapon mods, and now all that is gone? You can say its no big deal but I was screwed over and the same could happen to you in the real game. That is why someone needs to look into this. Someones account does not just get wiped for no reason, AND I WILL NOT BE THE ONLY ONE.

COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL STORY. Guess what? this demo is a representation of the full game. The game that is DONE, and won't be changed much past a small day 1 patch that will likely not address all the issues present. So what happened to me COULD happen in the real game, and to many more people. So your point is complete shenanigans. This is a real issue that someone needs to look in to, People cannot just put work into something for nothing, and that will likely happen in the full game. I hope it happens to you

This demo is not representation of the full game it is a taste, an example, or a sample. There were obvious cuts and things taken out work benches, conversations, CC features, and heck an entire HUB was taken to fit the requirement clearly proved by the leaked demo. If this was the full game I would take pitty on you but since it is clearly not I don't. I would be angry yes (heck I have accidently saved over/lost data in other games before), but I wouldn't waste my time on something that won't get fixed.

Heck, you know one thing that is worth ****ing about on a Bioware game that they themselves can't to seem to even replicate but it is obviously there? I will give you one, Mark of the Assassin DLC for DA2 on PS3 data corrupting glitch. /end thread

To the OP: I'm sorry you are experiencing issues, any more detailed information you can provide will be helpful to the relevant people on the ME3 team (If you could PM me your gamertag that would also be helpful). Did you experience a disconnect or any strange behaviour before the character was wiped? Did it occur between two play sessions (where you exited ME3)? Anything else that comes to mind?

Genshie, the demo is a sample, which would easily be classified as a representation of what the full game would be like. Not exact sure, but it is released for the sole purpose of showing people what it would be like. A demo that comes out this soon before release will obviously be a good inclination of what the game is. So this issue could easily still be present in the full game, and god knows how many people could be screwed over.

By your logic, homeless people in America do not matter because there are starving kids in Africa dying by the million. Showing an example of a far worse situation does not somehow negate what happened to me. You were being insulting, please do not say otherwise. I loved this game honestly, it was the most fun I have had in co op in a long time. I have tried to go back and play, but it just feels utterly ruined, all my progress, all those games of me destroying **** and being at the top of the scoreboard are wasted.. And starting over does not sound fun.. Especially when it could just happen again for no reason.

This might not be the end of the world, but a great experience was utterly ruined for me, and this issue could be something that happens to other people. So my concern is valid. Please go away

Could you guys agree to disagree? Hopefully the devs can investigate sohy's issue. For some it might not be a problem, but when you invest hours in a game like this, demo or otherwise, it's not cool to have all your hard work wiped. It understandably also leaves a bad taste in your mouth (metaphorically) when it comes to playing the full version.

Though I think we can all agree that we're looking forward to the full version.

His account was wiped for no apparent reason, needless to say he's kinda pissed. Yes its just a demo that is obvious, but the demo reflects on the main game, therefore the same problem has a possibility to also occur in the main game. Whats the friggen mystery?

I'd be worried too. Especially when its probably not the demo itself thats causing the problem, my money's on Origin or the like.

Niemack, yet again you come back? Are you obsessed with me or something? did I upset you? hurt your feelings? This topic is dead so I am curious as to why you keep coming back. He merely gave his opinion, I don't think it was origins fault, but there was clearly something wrong if all my progress got wiped out. This issue may persist in the full game, so it was a valid situation to bring up and it even got the attention of someone at bioware who is going to look into it. That is really all I wanted. The demo might just be a demo, but it really tainted an extremely fun and rewarding experience.. and I am unable to go back and play it again, it just feels... off? I guess. You can talk **** all you want, this is the internet, but it has been clear for awhile that the only **** here is you.

I'd be mad as well, leveling up isn't exactly easy with all of the kids who don't know what they're doing on multiplayer. And if he unlocked races via the veterans pack, which is hard to do, even more reason for him to be angry. Hopefully they can fix this issue for you and possibly revert your information back to its upgraded state.

I easily bought 20 Veteran Packs and tons of the Beginner ones to, I had probably half the races unlocked and so much bonus experience that characters I never played as were level 5 to level 9.. Not to mention all the upgrades and weapons I unlocked. I am pretty sure it is lost forever though, and whatever I guess... But it did kinda ruin a demo that I was planning on playing the **** out of until the game came out.


Now for AleshCZ.... When have I not been calm? having an issue and bringing it to attention does not constitute any emotion at all. Something happened that was unfair, and I merely wished to express the issue so someone could look into it. If you are telling me to calm down because of my comments to Niemack, the guy is being a royal douche, and I have every right to reply to him accordingly. I am calm, so get off my dick please

I suspect it would be Origin's fault because A. I heard Origin has many problems already and B. In my experience things like tend to be a problem with the account system, not the game itself. Of course I'm not certain for this case, but hey, thats my humble opinion.
