Hello there.
I have bought 800 BioWare Points through the website. The payment was sucessfull and now whe i go to the game or on the page where you can buy points, the system informs me that i have the right amount of points - 800, so this is OK.
Now the problem.:
When i enter my game (i am logged on) i cannot see any aditional content to install (the DLC), either i cannot add any of that content from the webpage. i can go to the http://dragonage.bio...ware.com/addon  but when i try to get the 'Stone Prisoner' or the Warden's Keep - i click on the PC button, but later on i am redirected to the webpage where i can guy points! i cannot access the page to but that content!
What should I do? Where is the problem? I have 800 points still, appearing on any webpage where it can appear, but i cannot use them, because i do not see any DLC
Please, help me!

Me too, I have done 2 chats with support and emailed them too. was told customer supt could not help me they were referring me to a senior technician. I will post as soon as I get an answer.

Having same issue. additional content page is blank. I have tried installing the updater 10 different ways and reinstalling the game entirely. Nothing. My points show up, but no content. no response from bioware atm. Frustrating

The following solved my problem:



Press WINDOWSKEY+R



Type in "services.msc"



Hit ENTER



Search for the service called "Dragon Age: Origins - Content Updater"



Start the service

Set the service to "Automatic" - if you don't you'll have to repeat the above everytime you reboot.

Are you guys running Win7 like me, or Vista? The reason for the service not starting up when you fire up Dragon Age is that Dragon Age isn't running with administrator rights. You can right click the dragonage.exe, mark "Run as administrator" and the game will be able to start the service any time its started. Then you can set the process back to "Manual", no need to have it running without the game.

The trick to turn on stuff did NOT work for me. XP Sp3, so maybe that is the issue. It'll download the stuff I have ready to go, but it wont find the new stuff. I paid for bioware points so I could download Wardens, and hopefully soon Ostagar... Anyone who finds how to fix this PLEASE share the wealth.

Exact same problem here. I'm registered on the Bioware Site and logged in in-game. I see my points balance, but cannot see any available DLC.

Ok, seriously, how you can mess up **** like this?!
I have all week been tryin' and trying to get DLC to work - You know why? I could say, because of those 800 point i paid, but i'll say, that because i realy know that those are made with heart or something like that. I wanted to complete your game. And now you'l rain **** to out heads, that's right then?

Heck, i am gonna torrent this game and DLC from piratebay, if you don't make them work.

And,  manually starting service don't work.

Yeah, I tried running the game in administrator mode. It didn't do anything for me.

Im running vista. Game is already running as admin. Service is already started up in manual mode. I still dont see my dlc's Iv a 1600 point balance online and logged in on the game. I sent a Email to support..If I dont get an answer soon Im simply going to contact my bank and reverse the charges and file a BBB Complaint for online fraud. Im sick of dealing with it.
