All right, I'm hitting the sack in about ten minutes, so I'll drop my bag of opinions on you folks. Don't worry, I'm not going to go ballistic, although I am disappointed, so don't expect praise.
When I started up the ME3 demo, I was expecting a shooter. Mass Effect 1 will always remain my favourite game in the series and one of my all-time favourites overall ─ period. Aside from this fact, I wasn't and still won't go into ME3 with terrible expectations, just a little bit lowered. The overall presentation and score were really nice, and I really felt at home with that. The menus felt a little too gamey, and I think ME2 struck the perfect balance, but they somehow messed it up. The clear graphical limitations that have carried over from the consoles to the PC are extremely visable and glaringly annoying. Low-res textures, odd FOV, distorted motion blur, grainy shadows, etc. Things such as logos on outfits (Alliance logo on the uniforms on Earth) looked terrible on cloth, but some of the metalic stuff (N7 armor) looked fantastic. Lighting and such looked good, although I feel like they're toying with the saturation too much.
Now, onto the gameplay. When they said they were going for the Call of Duty audience, they weren't kidding. Hitmarkers, Gears of War-esque cover system, clunky shooting mechanics, sloppy AI, etc. I felt like the enemies had little to no diversity, and even things like the Atlas Mech were just pop-in, pop-out DPS battles. The dialogue system felt way too linear, although I've heard that was just for the demo, so I'll excuse it ─ for now. Levelling up was a pretty smooth system, especially considering how little I was expecting.
Some other gripes were things such as the cheesy-ass dialogue, forced drama (that kid dying was just terribly done), and the typical, scripted scenes that are straight out of Call of Duty.
I think BioWare would have done much better without EA, but I'll reserve my final judgement when I finish the game.

Next time state the platform aka PC in the beginning. I thought you were talking about consoles until I got halfway till I saw consoles to PC.
First off, They decided to push the consoles to its limit and port it to PC as to not give you all the graphical advantage due to BF3 already doing that. This game isnt built off of Frostbite 2 so get over it.
Second off, Im not a fan of Call of Duty but I like the hitmarker as it lets me know if my bullet hits immedately before they roll out of the way. If they remove the roll then they can remove hitmarker
