I did a silver match with two friends (both within the lvl15-18 range) using my asari adept. The match ended with them at around 45K and me at 95K. It was insane. I slaughtered.

I honestly think Bioware needs to take a look at this, as fun as it is, because this class can pretty much clear the field alone with just throw.
and then you start playing on gold.....

Erhm, people actually use Throw with their asari adepts?
Really?
people actually use warp? i thought that was just for atlas biotic explosion combo, lol

I don't understand how anyone can use an asari adept and not max Throw. It's almost as crucial as Stasis. I use the asari adept more than pretty much any class, aside from my vanguard, and I only ever use warp for biotic explosions versus atlas'.

this is about the balance in the multiplayer so it has nothing to do with the singleplayer. the multiplayer NEEDS balance between the different classes without question and yes asari adepts are extremely over powered.
asari adept + carnifex m6 + stasis warp and throw highly expanded = nearly unbeatable...its that simple!
in the end they make every other class totally useless...its ridiculous especially on silver or gold. one asari adept can handle a bunch of phantoms easily while three krogans struggle and that is what counts since mostly the phantoms making sure that a mission becomes a failure. end of story
fix required.
Yes, let's nerf fun. No way people should have that in a game.

I played Human Sentinel to level 14, unlocked Turian Sentinel played that to level 18, unlocked Asari Adept and played that ever since.
PS: It really should have been Asari Commando as their race specific skill instead of Asari Justicar.

If you upgrade the damage you can 2-3 hit kill basic troops with it on silver with a recharge thats under a second. Try it, it's suprisingly good.

asari Adept is a glass cannon. She can deal tremendous amounts of damage and Stasis anyone, but goes down fast if flanked or cornered. She needs support to be at her best.
Human Adepts, Quarian/Human Engneers are glassy as well, but not nearly as dominant as Asari with Stasis and Throw spams. She can deal with Phantoms, Centurions, Engineers and basically anything that is not Atlas or a turret, with little to no effort. Also, that dash of hers can improve her survivability by quite a lot, if you use it right.
As of right now, Asari Adepts are right up here with NovaGuards, dominating gold, silver and bronze with ease. And when the full game comes out, Asari Vanguards will join the S+ ranks as well (my prediction based on their skillset).
I'm not complaining or anything, I still find other classes a whole lot of fun. I managed to finish gold with a Schimitar wielding Quarian Engineer without much trouble. I think pretty much all classes are viable, it's just some are way more dominant than others, no matter what situation they are in.

More importantly., it causes Guardians to reel backwards momentarily and expose themselves if aimed at them from the front. From behind, it strips them of their shield entirely. It has its uses.LiquidLogic2020 wrote...

If you're an Asari adept, you can just stasis 'em though.

Good to hear you find this a problem. I agree when classes aren't balanced, over powered or not it really ruins the long term fun for a game.
As I play Salarian Infiltrator, it pisses me off when a Human Vangaurd is running around spamming Biotic Charge and nova, or a Asari Adept, is using stasis on everything. As a full fledged sniper, I rely on my target to move into my scope.
Either it gets charged out of the way or a massive group of them is being sprawled all over the map, 'cause of Nova, and if that's not the case, a Guardian is just about to move into my scope, and bam, it's frozen so I miss and my kill gets taken.
Not that I care about being first or anything, it's just irritating that people are playing these two classes to compete.

exactly....in the end more and more people play as an asari adept because of the advantages and that would be boring. i think every class needs to be useful in its own way so everyone can be valuable in a specific combat situation. asari adepts can handle just everything twice as good as the others so there is basically no need to play as an engineer or soldier for example.
