This point has been brought up in several other posts. I think the general consensus is that many animations/textures/dialogue was hack and slashed to minimize the download size of the demo.

Or that is the hope at least. The apparent silence on Bioware's end on these issues is disquieting however.

I won't worry about it - if it's in gold, that's disappointing (Playing on Xbox right?  PC version wouldn't surprise me).  If I had to choose, I'll take story over small stuff like that.  I'd still like to have both, but I can live with it if the game is as good as I expect it to be!

Its funny since all I am hearing is "running animations, running animations, running animations, and Oh look 2D people running on the ground", I thought it was funny too when I saw in the dem but everything else was just fine. You guys broken records. I think most people already know what you are going to **** about. Practically almost all these same threads are complaining about the same thing. I am honestly surprised that this is one of the few oppionanted threads that are still open from last night. (The majorirty of them got locked since it ended up turning into a console/pc war which is what this thread is starting to look like)

Honestly, it's not just the animations, everything looks terrible.
Maybe The Witcher 2 spoiled me, but god damn it, BioWare!

Not our fault that we have to stare at atrocious animations/textures/etc. I just want to have a game I'm paying for to have the upmost graphical experience. I've played ME1 and 2 on consoles don't be saying "I hate consoles" or anything of the sort.

I just can't get past how crappy and floaty Shepard's animation is compared to ME2, enough to not the buy the game.

Maybe if I see in the news somewhere that Bioware patched it I will buy it then.

P.S.
I played both ME1 and ME2 last month and I think ME1 has the best walking while holding a gun animation, ME3 has no quality to it at all, it's all around atrocious.

Damn, you guys have high demands.
I just want it to run on my ol' PC. I doubt I'll be playing it on high graphics anyway.

Expecting the same level of quality as in previous two games does not fall under "high demands".

I think those people here, who demand "everything better" should stop playing Games and go outside instead and enjoy this "Game" which is OUTSIDE. Oh wait...you call that "Real Life". Has even way more features than Sims...

Well for me if I wasnt "expecting" graphical/animation enhances from the other 2 games I would be 100% sure of buying the game. Thats the problem "expecting",I have no trouble in playing pc games that don't have good grahpics/animations at all because I expected them to. I'm still getting this game and the last of dragon age when they comeout but I'm not going to that "long lasting" fan.

Let's take the rage-a-hol down a few notches, please. We can (and shold be able to) disagree with each other without resorting to childish behaviour and spamming the forum with off-topic links.

Lol what are you talking about?
In some of my comments I think I stated
1.Animations are bad
2.Textures are bad
3.Stated reasons why I demand a better quality of a game rather than a seemed to "to-be rushed" game.

Also, lets not forget that most of the comment's have rather now been console vs. PC. And in some of my comments i have posted defended the position of the PC regarding to it's sales in games. You act like Bioware will actually look at these and say something inregards to what will happen to the PC version.
Mayhaps a texture pack?
Or Let a Mod tool happen?

I highly doubt it, stop being a prun.

Considering the price of consoles these days, you are better off just buying a full computer instead.

This is pure ignorance. A console costs between 250 and 300. You show me a decent PC that can do ME3 or hell even lets say skryim for 300 bucks. You can't.

You wouldn't have the rage if Bioware would speak out about these complaints. They are not as bad as peopl emake them out to be, but there were issues seen in the demo. Are you going to address them, or cover them up?

Childish "behavior"?Might wanna take out the u there
Hard not to rage when I expected the final game in the series to be a very excellent game and see it not to be that way.
Looks like I have to live with that since I pre-ordered the collectors edition.

You do realise the reason that the rage exists is because you guys are failing in one of two ways:

1) You failed to deliver a good gaming experience by passing off shoddy visual and animations in Mass Effect 3.

Or;

2) You failed to communicate with your... community... by setting their minds at ease about the animation problems.

I won't be buying the game until I see how this pans out. If these are final-product animations... you can forget it. I'll be ending my long-time fanboyism for Bioware and anything with Bioware written on it. And I get the feeling lots of people feel the same way, based on the posts in this thread (and on these boards in general).

Also, it's spelt "behaviour" in every important country in the world :o

Well guess theres 2 differences in the word. I've always got a minus when spelling it behaviour in my college prep writing. So I've always stuck with the other variant.

Wow, you guys have high demands for everything. It's a wonder you even enjoy the games at all, if you even do that is, and haven't moved to simply complaining about every little thing.

Instead of accepting the fact that your preconceptions of perfection and conspiracy theories are dumb, all you do is complain about how Mass Effect 3's animations look horrible because Bioware used sprites in a section of the game you see for less than 10 seconds, or that Shepard's running animations "look horrible" to you.

At times I feel ashamed for being a part of a generation of gamers that cares more about meaningless things like sprites being used in a 10 second-long section of a game or the story not being perfectly written according to what they envisioned.

Seriously guys, gaming has become something filled to the brim with perfectionists and complaints nobody even TRIES to accept a game, flaws and all, and enjoy it.
