I don't know what makes me more sad, the goofy animations or BSN.

Maybe I don't think the running animation is that bad.

Or does the thought of a differing opinion scare you?

No but being wrong does brah.

This is a known issue in psychology, cognitive dissonance, confirmation bias when investment is too great an all of that...

Sure, it would be easy to say that this is about mental acuity, observance, perception, memory recall and how people who say animations are great lack all of those things but one would really have to be mentally retarded to really not have any of it on an acceptable level.

Blame this thread on BioWare utterly failing with their running animations.

I just don't see the point in focusing so HARD on the BAD of something as small as a FEW animations.
Its not even that big of a complaint when it comes down to the rest of the game.

A FEW animations, that you'll see for THE ENTIRE game. It's not okay for a triple A game to have terrible animations.

This seems to be a clash of people who on the one hand desperately want to believe ME3 will be perfect and on the other those who are convinced it will be terrible....while I agree some of the animations (particularly the weird lizard running) are very bad I don't think it will necessarily ruin the entire game…buts it is a damn shame

Lets all hope it wont be there for the final product, but from the look of things it just might.

Probably, all anims got worse (less frames->makes them look more simple/worse/hilarious) because of memory limitations/to make room for the new rolls/dodges/etc. because of crappy console "non-power".

Someone needs to compare the pistol running animations from the past 3 games and the rifle running animations from the past three games. And put it on youtube to see if the difference.

Free thought does seem to scare some, then they get agressive and insulting.

I don't have a problem at all with the running animations in the demo. Not in the slightest. I don't have a problem with any of the animations, they're all on par or better than ME2.

My shepard's face made some pretty impressive animations. He actually looked like he had emotions this time.

Facial animations are nice but the crazy special olympics running really gets me.

Complain more you chumps. It's a FU?KING DEMO.

DEMO

And this game is supposed to be an RPGS. Not a FPS. If they bring In More stuff to sacrifice gameplay, then they're going in the right direction. RPg fans will be pleased. If you like shooters then go play MW3 or BF3.

I don't really care how they move really. The movement in the first Mass Effect was bad but I didn't care either. The first game was a good shooter and RPG.

If you don't agree, say you don't agree. But don't bash others because they don't agree with you.

God people are so rude these days.

Isnt it embarrasing that games like Batman AA/AC has 10X better animations with half the budget?

I don't know the budget for either of those games. Just like I don't know the budget for ME3. I highly doubt you know the budgets either. As such, saying ME3 has twice the budget is a little disingenuous. Regardless, no, I don't find it embarrasing. Different games with different priorities.

I think maybe they should have positioned shepard a bit more to the side, he's like smack dab in the middle of the screen and its a little hard to see what i'm running towards.

The demo was finished in December or January and the game went gold somewhere in February i'm sure they will remove some of the bad animations, but if your expectations are so freaking high they can only disappointing. I for myself don't bother that much because i'f bin waiting so long for this game i'm not going to completely criticize it because of a running animation
