OMG, the legs don't even move when upright and behind short length cover, it just awkwardly slides.

At this point I'm seriously thinking of not even playing ME3 when it comes out, I feel like it will ruin everything.

If this will prevent your from playing the game, I guess it's your loss. *Assumes OP cancels pre-order.*

Why can't people complain in silence?

Because then games get worse and worse.

Maybe. But it's best if people complain about stuff like this during development. The game is done. Therefore, there isn't much BioWare can do at this point.

The trick is we're not able to see stuff like this during development.  So your solution would mean that people would have no chance at any sort of input.  I'm not saying that each and every complaint is valid or needs to be treated like it's the most game breaking thing ever, but expecting people to remain silent is unreaslistic.  Besides, even if there isn't much that they can do to address the various complaints, there are some things they can do.  We wouldn't have post-release patches if devs were unwilling to listen to player feedback.

I laughed at how bad the animations were in Lagrim. A whole new level of crap thanks to Bethesduh.

Yes. OK. We get it. You don't like Skyrim.

This statement is really wrong you don't get to see the game untill it's done so you can't complain about it before you know what's in it .

True. There's where develpoers like Bungie went right. They allowed people to play Halo: Reach early with a beta. Addressing issues was easy for them. BioWare may release patches after release, but the possibility of changing anything right now is pointless.

And that's just walking.

Definitely disappointed with the animations; they are cringe worthy. I'm trying to be an optimist and assume the demo is an incomplete build and that the final game's animations will be nice and polished.

I'm not sure I can agree that it is pointless.  You're right that any Earth shattering changes aren't going to happen since the game is done, but there are still smaller fixes that can be made.  And whatever things that can be corrected thanks to player feedback makes it worthwhile.

So.....what ?

I'm fine with that, it's not like ME series ever had outstanding animation, walking was wierd in ME2, running ridicoulous in ME1, etc....overall I think that ME3 have the best ones, I really do

I can't put my finger on it but after playing Mass Effect 2 then going to the ME 3 demo I felt like the pacing in combat wasn't there like it was in ME 2.

You may be right. I'm not saying any one side is wrong. I think that after the full game comes out, BioWare will make any changes to their formula where they are needed. We'll just have to wait for those changes until the game comes out March 6th.

Yes, everything feels awkward and wrong, but such basic stuff like animation that keeps getting worse...there is nothing like poor animation in any game that makes me not want to play it.

I don't know, Im thinking right now to delete ME2, this ME3 demo and forget about Mass Effect universe and games entirely. I had good fun with ME2, dozens of playthroughs, maybe I should just leave it at that before everything is ruined with ME3.

Yes. Why improve something like animations? No game needs those!

Do we know for sure that demo is actaully part of the game or just a demo of the gameplay that isn't in the game  and not the final product.

Only thing I didn't really like about the demo was no Sniper :(. The running animations were a tad laughable but other then that I enjoyed it.

Animation is horrible. In ME2 i can feel that i control the 180 pounds men (women), because animation conveys it. And in this demo it's just stupid avatar that stuck in bottom of screen. It's awful.

What bugs me more than the run animations and stuff is that the facial animations and lip sync quality has gone down, its worse than both ME1 and ME2. Less emotion in faces, and not synced to the dialogue as well. Something changed here.

I agree. The animations are poor. Hopefully, the retail version will be an improved build. Lets hope this is Dragon Age 2 again.

Well, the standard line for any demo is that it "isn't the final product" but they are usually extremely indicitve, if not entirely accurate.  Granted, as others have pointed out, certain things had to be cut from the demo to keep it under the file size cap for the Xbox, but we haven't heard what those are for certain.  Obviously, they wouldn't say what bits of story were removed, but basic animations would be a strange thing to mess with.

I know if i was BioWare i wouldn't put out a Demo that was part of the opening sequence of the actual game.
