Hi creative buddies! Thanks for encouraging me to write another song... just uploaded a new song I recorded onto You Tube, the title is Arlathan and you can find it by that tag.  Here is the link:

Or you can find it on my channel josieevelync.  This is all home recorded, not for profit, for you to use as background music to your own videos if you wish (send me a message and I will send you the MP3).  The song is intended to make you think you are either in the Fade, at a place where the veil is thin, or looking through time back to the original Arlathan mentioned by the Dalish Elves.  Tried to keep the melody in theme with the whole DA/NWN chord progressions.  It is not really mixed down or mastered, but I hope you enjoy it, would love to hear if you like it.  I am terrible at making videos, so it is just a few pictures of "Dalish/Graveyard" type scenes.Posted Image

The lyrics (besides "Arlathan") are:
Setheneran. Halam shiral in alas lethallan.
Harel mana dirth abelas isala atisha.
Translation in English is:
The Waking Dream place where the veil is thin
is the end of the journey in the land of my kin.
The frightening past tells of sorrow, in need of peace.

I didn't hear your previous work but this is very good, I really like it :) it's calm and energetic or dynamic (not sure what's the better word here, my English is not very good:) ) at the same time. I could definitely listen to that while exploring some dalish camp or ancient ruins. You're talented! :)

Thank you Nadia for your kind words! The song was running through my head last night, it made me dream of dark misty forests and ancient stone ruins!

As a Dalish geek myself, I definitely approve of this song. Very well done. I like it :)

Thanks! Wish I could take credit for the drums too, but they are an Indian Percussion loop that my music recording software came with. Only the vocals and lyrics are mine. Maybe someday...
I'm really appreciative of all the positive feedback!
