Been trying to play with a friend through origin. The problem is when we try create a public match and inviting it is full before we can accept. So we tried private matches and then it says can't join friends game. Kinda frustrating since the only reason I dled the PC version was to play with this friend. Have the xbox as well so not a major issue. Just friend does not have an xbox.

Connection issues are usually caused because your router configurations are not compatibile with one another (Not all configurations can connect to certain other configurations).

Yeah, I used to have this issue (as well as not hearing some people on mic and them not hearing me, while another person heard both of us fine) but opening ports 3659 and 6000 on my router helped.

I've had some weird connection issues with my family from the start.
My wife and I share one connection. My dad and brother share another connection.
If my brother hosts, my wife can't join.
If my dad hosts, I can't join.
If my wife hosts, someone can't join (I forget who..)
If I host, everyone can join! (usually)
