Of course this is why we are here demanding and waiting for answers. Because we LOVE this franchise. That is why I have made so many posts, that is why this issue is 16 pages long.

I really love Mass Effect... in fact I consider ME one of the best games I ever played. But I wont let my love for the game to make me tolerate a sub par product. I expect quality and that is why I want Bioware to address us and let us know what they are doing about it.

As huge as my love is for this franchise, I will be similarly hugely disappointed if it turns out like the demo.

There is also more of a demand because of the Skyrim fiasco, but that problem is sorely because they wanted to meet the 11-11-11 date so that game has no chance of actually being fixed with patches. But the point with that is we actually want ME3 to be fixed. I will be honest the video i saw demosrating this problem didnt do a good job, all it show was that person wasnt taking the time to enjoy the game. Some of the issues ive seen stated are due to people looking to critize the PS3 so I am not sure if all the claims against ME3 on PS3 are actual problems. Remember we live in the age where people do console wars 360 VS PS3, but i can see the lip syncing being a problem just something i havent seen myself. I say that because since the latest patch for ME2 on PS3, whenever that was, I notice the end of their speeches being cut off when someone is suppose to follow in with a line after said speaker.

But I think the only problem that is probably the main issue is with the LI's maybe not lining up, perfect way i heard to see if your having LI problems is take a Shepard thats in love with Liara. LI problem with that Shepard will show when you meet up with Liara, she should kiss you if your in a Romance otherwise its just a hug.

Hi there, I've read this thread from the start and was hoping, that Bioware would answer at some point. But obviously they didn't. I'm telling you this because here in Germany this thread became somewhat of a serious issue of high gravity. Enormous fanbase in this country. And there are sensible reactions, too. The price of the PS3 version startet 10 - 20 Euro higher than the 360 Version (depending on CE or not). But now there has been a consistent drop. PS3 price has fallen under 360 version and fans are not happy at all. So dear Bioware, show this to your marketing department and reconsider the don't ask don't tell policy towards framerate issues.

There apparent lack of communication pretty much ensures that they're just going to keep their mouth shuts until release so that it doesn't effect sales.

I know about that. They aren't saying anything. If they don't give us an update to what they've found then it's no better than being silent. They need to communicate with us and tell us what they're finding.

Yeah of course they need to let us know what's going on but I mean would you rather they came here and said "we're fixing it" or have them ACTUALLY fix it in time for release? (maybe I'm just being hopeful I dunno)

Biowares customer service has always lacked. It lacks in SWTOR, it lacks here.

UPDATE FROM IGN

Here's what they say when asked about the frame-rate issues and lip-sync:

"But when you get into the nitty-gritty, undeniable technical problems present themselves in the game. The problems have subsided for me on PlayStation 3 the further I've gotten into the game, and I don't think it's because I've "gotten used to" what I am seeing. Things really seem to have improved. Why that is remains to be seen. "

Encouraging, yet still vague sentence/comment from IGN. What does he mean by "when you get into the nitty-gritty"? And how far into the game do the problems finally seem to go away? 1 hour? 2 hours? 10 hours? It is rather important for them when they comment on samething like that to be as clear as possible.

I agree, this is encouraging, and with them "looking into it" they may just release a patch for the issues.

He(ign guy) said me3 presentation is amazing: voice acting story telling, etc. But when you get down to the "nitty gritty" as in technical issues, the game does have problems but gets better over time

Valkyre, if this isn't good enough then the only way you're going to find the answer you're looking for is if you play the game yourself. IGN's breakdown is the best your going to get right now.

Yes I know, but I only wanted him to specify how long into the game the problems go away. If it is one hour or just the intro then ok I can live with that like I said in the past. But if it means you have to play 10 hours in for issues to go away then its a deal breaker.

I guess we have to wait for the game to come out. Bioware won't answer us now, a week before the release, if they didn't get in touch earlier.

I can't be arsed to go through the whole 17 pages and this info is not really that big of a deal but has anyone noticed this in ME3 demo FAQ?

"I've been noticing some framerate issues on Playstation 3. Is there any way to fix this?
We are aware of this and we're investigating the issue."

I knew they said something on the boards but never so officially. Makes me hope they really are going to fix this.

I understand the second part of IGN's review is now up. I don't want to read it (in case it spoils something for me) but wondered if anyone else has read it, and, if so, were these issues discussed further?

It was a Q&A. The writer made it a priority not to spoil any part of the game so you should be fine.

I believe the game went gold last week so I doubt anything will be fixed other than via a zero day patch.

We already know that. We've been discussing it for the past 5 pages.

Regardless of how bad the technical issues can be and/or how much the issues can be improved, I just hope ME 3 will not be one of the worst PS3 ports out there.
