So guys. Any idea of something we could do to get the attention of bioware (or the media) ???.

It's starting to get obvious that bioware doesen't care about this thread or about the Ps3 version in general. We can keep trying until this thread has 20000 pages buy they would probably keep ignoring us.

Any ideas?

Yeah, well... that's difference between a game running at 20fps (and sometimes less) and a game running at 30.

Chris posted something about patches, he mentions that they are working to fix stuff but he is not being specific whether that includes fixing the poor framerate. I made a post asking him to clarify this for us. I hope he does it will make a lot of us happy.

I don't have serious frame rate drops. Sometimes it takes some time to load things or two sentences overlay. The only BIG problem I have, is that my PS3 always freezes when I go to D2 Holding Docks. That's simply annoying as hell. How the **** can a publisher/producer not see this huge problem with which a lot of ppl have to deal with. Srsly test ur f***** games before you release it.
The diversity between the 360 and ps3 is also a joke.

Take your time BioWare, get things right and then release it! You can save all this trouble. Release it 1-2 months later or get spammed by annoyed customers for 2 months because the game is buggy? Result is the same. Playable game 1-2 months later.

So, I just played the "Grissom Academy" sidequest and have to say, the framerate was quite decent during gameplay (playing digital edition). In the final part it slowed down a bit but not really that much .
Cutscenes horrible was allways.

I actually noticed something, and I don't know if this is the same with you guys but. All my cut scenes are stuttery and annoying, including small conversations with squad mates ect, but other than on Tuchanka (genophage mission) my gameplay is pretty solid. I don't have any problems during gameplay, it's only in cut scenes and conversations (which I suppose are technically cut scenes).

I think for the most part the framerate isn't terrible. However, it isn't up to par with the 360. The framerate on ps3 looks choppy compared to the smooth 360 version.

An improved framerate would make the game much more enjoyable.

Yes. Overall, gameplay runs better than Cutscenes, but still not really good

While the gameplay is largely smooth for me, there are some sections that are almost unplayable.

I can't really notice the 20 FPS cutscenes since there isn't that much motion going on most of the time.

The framerate on cutscenes is 2ce as bad as it is in gameplay, sure, but there are a lot of moments during gameplay that the framerate is simply awful :(. Look at grisom Academy, Citadel mission, London Genophage mission, Rannoch etc etc... the difference with the 360 version is as clear as daylight...

It's tough being a vanguard and you rely on biotic charge to get you out of a tough situation but the frame rate misleads you and you end up pressing triangle for no reason and die. This is also a problem when you need to make accurate movements when you are up against phantoms and banshees.

I was playing a mission, the one where you meet:

END OF SPOILER

And in the last part there is an action heavy cutscene and it looked like a slideshow, really, really bad. Which is weird because the whole level was action packed and the gameplay run smooth, but as soon as there are where cutscenes it didn't get higher than 10fps.

Im having framerate problems too.

Bioware, i cant speak for others, but i dont care if you have to downgrade the graphics to make this game playable. Ive stopped playing the single player and decided to continue it when and if we get a patch. It simply makes the experience impossible to enjoy.

Multiplayer isnt much better and its almost impossible to play too.

How did this game get released in this state?

Exactly... Vanguard is a pain because of framerate. A real pain. At some point I just stopped playing as a true Vanguard using charge and I played like a soldier class. Why? Because when I charged and the framerate went to 15-20 fps, well I couldnt aim for the life of me after the charge... it was a waste really...

Communication. Speak to us, please tell us something, tell us you are going to fix it or that you are not going to fix it, it is not so hard or complicated. We simply need to know that you guys are no longer "investigating" but that you are actually "working" on fixing this, or not.

I see 360 users complain about slow loading textures on shuttle bay armor (pS3 also has it) and I am baffled, because the issues with my version's poor performance are actually insanely more important than some slow loading textures. Bioware we deserve to know whether our performance is going to be improved or not. Please communicate with your fans. We feel ignored.

was really bad during the Grissom Academy while in the mech and during the finale, some other parts too. Also some graphical glitches. Hopefully this gets patched unlike how the voice sync problems weren't patched in ME2

Can someone explain to me why Earth is worse in the actual game than the demo.

I just made a comparison and the FPS has actually dropped for me. Who'da thunk it.
