I know a couple people in this thread remarked that BW had worked out the issues in PS3 ME2 by the time retail hit. However, I was under the impression that ME2 *retail* was still gltichy (i.e., vehicle falling through terrain in the one mission), and still had rubber-banding framerates going on.
Now if I am wrong, that's cool, I'll say I was wrong. But if I am right (and I am pretty sure that's what I had read), then this ME3 issue is even less pleasing than ever. As I had said in my first post in this thread, High Moon and Rocksteady had the PS3 versions of their HD-era debuts picture-perfect. How can BW not have this straightened out across 2 games using UE3? Again, I am really trying to not be disrespectful or belligerent, as some are. But as a consumer that would have really liked to see the PS3 version achieve parity this time, I am totally disappointed.
I used to think the people who posted the many "what happened to you, Bioware?" threads across so many sites and forums were just whiny crybabies. But I *am* starting to wonder if the acquisition by EA has truly damaged this developer. But even as I sit here and type this all out, I am forced to realize that yeah, even KotOR was NINE years ago now. Maybe they *have* changed. Or maybe *I* have. Who knows.
