I have seen some lag but its not enough to prevent me from dropping my Pre-order for PS3 for another system sure ME2 for PS3 had some slowdown and stuff worse one was the Convo's getting cut before it ended!! I am glad I have a PS3 I hate Origins on PC and my 360 is died a year ago!! I know its a demo not final game just hope the full game doesn't have the same problem when it comes to convos

Rarely? It's consistent with in-game action sequences. If they couldn't nail that down, what makes you think they'll have the issue done by release. They are gold now. Won't see a fix till after release.

Maybe I was just lucky then that the issue barely showed up in my many playthroughs.

I've done 4 playthroughs on the ps3 version.  I did 3 on my xbox before it died.

In all 4, I've had the same sound not matching cenematic problem.

the lengths people are willing to go to defend Bioware , a nameless corporation , is astounding!

instead of supporting the gaming counity and theirselves actually since they are about to purchase an inferior product they go about buttlicking bioware! oh the irony...

Man, I have been following your posts in a couple threads about this now. And attacking BW is one thing. But when you transition to then attacking anyone who isn't agreeing with your point of view it comes across as being a zealot. Like I have said a couple of times, I mean no disrespect, but in my opinion you should refocus your thoughts on BW and EA, and cool off on attacking other forum posters. Your state of constant offense could, if it has not already become, counter-productive to the cause.

@dwarrior74

excuse me but i wont stop complaining until i hear something from bioware themselves addressing the issue. If you think that my behavior is inappropriate, then by all means, please describe to me what Bioware's response and as a consequence behavior, is like?

I am a customer.

I am about to fork down 60$ for what appears ro be an inferior product. And you tell me that me ****ing about it is a behavior if a zealot? And yes i will be sarcastic with other members when they are constantly denying the fact that the ps3 version is a mess when it comes to performance. Maybe you are acustomed to such treatment from companies, I however am not. And I wont try to be "nice", why? Because -apparently- i was lied by Bioware when they said i wont notice a difference. I will cry out and will shout for what i believe is my right to do so inder the circumstances.

All I wanted was Bioware to respond to this. But they dont and the more I wait the more I feel like a second rate customer.

If they respond and if they reassure me that my version is going to be performing as well as 360 does then, by all means you will see how happy and calm I will be. I know when to say "thank you very much" but I also know that I have to fight to get equal treatment, cause sometimes if you dont scream no1 will listen to you.

peace out.

Don't bother with this one Dwarrior.

I was thinking of adressing them directly before, but after seeing a few more of their posts I realized that it would be a total waste of the energy I used to swipe the keyboard.

The only thing I was after was civilized, mature conversation, as I had previously stated. I'm not into painting war stripes on my face with my own blood and then trying to beat down their door with it. It's a $60 game I haven't bought, not some local government trying to tear down my home for a mini-mall.

At the end of the day, the machinations inside BW aren't going to be moved by a 6-page thread representing maybe 200 people at most. Especially if certain posters are coming with torches and gasoline jugs over money they haven't spent. The mission of the thread is done, the message has been delivered, and everyone's opinion is known. They'll fix it. Or they won't.

Peace.

Your last paragraph says it all really.

Ironic considering our concerns are EXACTLY what this section of the forum is for...

We simply would like some feedback from the devs on the issue.

I know on Bioware's twitter the person responded to someone's complaint about the PS3 version with a response saying that the build isn't the final version and they would pass their concerns onto the developers.  Whether that happens or not is another thing, but that person is very nice and respectful even when they receive bad criticims, so I respect them for that.  You can't make everyone happy.

I decided to cancel my pre-order because I felt the framerate problem impacted the gameplay, not because I'm upset that it's not 100% identicle to the 360 version.  I understand the work that goes into making games across multiple architectures isn't easy.  I just would like a more playable product.  I am waiting to see what the final version (or Bioware's response if they release one) has in store before buying the game.

Honestly Rem, I thought this thread would grow exponentially after being made and catching on. The situation is so obvious. At least to me. But seeing this slow growth tells me that either a lot of people didn't download the demo, or this version of it, or just aren't seeing the issue that I find so jarring. So yeah, I kinda doubt it'll have an impact, even if I hope it does. At the very least, the message was delivered. All we can do, bud.

I just think that we should reserve all this arguing for the final product then make a decision if THAT product is as choppy as the demo. Sure alot of demos come straight out of the final copy of the game but some demos dont..... Battlefield 3 beta demo was crap, glitches all over the place, but the final game was much more polished. Amalur demo was also very glitchy but i havnt run into any glitchs yet on the actual game. So lets just wait see if the actually game is glitched out or not. if its not then enjoy the game, if its as choppy and the demo then just spend your money elsewhere...

Their silence is unfortunately not reassuring on this matter. I dont get it really. Is it that hard to just come out and say

"yes the game is going to be improved in the final version"?

Probably not, which is why they wont say anything, hence the game is going to perform like this for PS3 owners. Come on Bioware, communicate with your fans... that is what these boards are for no?

I am getting deja vu, not too long ago I sifted through similar threads on bethesda forums, I sure hope BioWare get back to us, I would love to know for certain that this will indeed be sorted out on the ps3 version.

It was in Bethesda's case but with bioware I actually have more faith in them.

Last time there was this kind of silence was around the time ME2 was released on the PS3 and users where reporting saves corrupting and games freezing. Expect a response once the sales figures are in.

So it's a Lose/Lose situation then...

If it sells well...who cares, people are buying it anyway. If it doesn't sell well... who cares, not enough people bought it.

It's frustrating.
