Hm. Little over sensitive? Regardless, you, Valk, and others have the option to post and express their opinion on the demo they released and asked for feedback, and if that feedback is "The fps is horrid" damn rights people are going to let them know. Again, demo or not. It's their product.

Why don't we actually wait until the final retail game hits the shelves before complaining, huh?
Well uhm... i dont know, maybe because by then it is going to be rather late??
Seriously you guys are unbelievable... using the above logic, why should there be a mass effect 3 board before they actualy release the game?
Why should people talk about the plot and speculate about the endings? Why not wait, play the game, finish it and talk?
Hey why should people say they dont like animations? Lets wait for the final version, make sure they are the same then complain right?
Hey why should we argue about bad writing on the demo? Lets wait for the final game, maybe the lines are changed. If not, then argue.
Maybe now you understand why we are complaining. Because this is a board for Mass Effect and the demo which is a representation of what the game is going to be like, had some important issues, and we need feedback on said issues. I am not going to pay 60$ blindly just to see whether or not the final version has framerate problems or not. By then it will be late and I will be 60$ short, so no, I will talk about these issues. If you and anyone else cant take it, please dont join the conversation.

So to BioWare we beseech you HELP US OUT.
I for one can over look small glitches, like randomly floating in the air or having one of my squad mates integrate him/her self into another squad mate (just an example of a funny glitch I recently had in ME2 where Zaeed was INSIDE Garrus, I couldn't stop laughing) THOSE things I can easily overlook but frame-rate is too important to overlook, we need answers before release so we can all act accordingly.

If the problems are still present in the retail version then we have the right to complain, and believe me I will be one of them. The problem is you're judging a DEMO of what I suspect is from E3 2011 because the build looks identical (very glitchy, poor frame rate, dissapointing-unpolished visuals etc) and it was what was used to showcase the game back then.
The game went gold about a week or so ago, so its too late to stop them pressing discs. The only way they can address any issues is by patching the game.
I do believe Bioware should answer us on here and clarify these issues. It would put a lot of minds at ease.
In the meantime, take a chill pill and have some patience. Look forward to the 6th/9th March and if there are any problems I'm sure Bioware will address them with patches.

What we know:
-Someone at Bioware tweeted that this is indeed an early build. (But we have no reason to believe it)
-This maybe a build from way back during the last E3, but even looking at the demo that got shown at Microsoft's press conference, the Xbox360 version is silky-smooth when compared to what we have on the PS3 at this moment.
-A sharp drop in FPS on the PS3's side, analysis provided by Digital Foundry
-A bad track record on Bioware's part due to numerous out of sync moments existing in PS3's ME2, which remain unfixed to this day
-Someone at Bioware posted an overtly generic response in this thread which did not clarify anything.
Based on the above points, I think we are allowed to complain, and having discussions spawned from said complaints. We don't want to hold our breaths on something that may never be fixed in the future. If Bioware really, really, really wants to go the patch route, at least they can be potentially motivated to develop the patches more quickly due to our tenacity.

You really dont get it do you?
May I suggest you look at this board section description for starters? Yeah... it is called technical support. And we have technical issues with the demo, so we are discussing them. You like to play with words and label it complain? Fine, no problem. We are discussing our complaints. And we have every reason to do so. If you dont like people mentioning anything remotely bad to your favorite corporation, please dont derail threads that people are staying perfectly on topic.
You are complaining about people complaining about technical issues.
And your analysis/hypothesis that the demo is an early code as far back as E3 2011 proves nothing more than that the PS3 version is indeed problematic. Why? Because in E3 2011 there was no PS3 version shown. Only xbox version. And guess what... the xbox 360 demo runs LOCKED at 30 frames per second.
So how come the xbox 360 demo old version runs so good and the ps3 one is at 15-20 frames per second? You are actually validating our concerns and complaints regarding the framerate matter.
Even Bioware responded and actually -even though their response was ellusive and vague to say the least- thanked us for bringing this issue up.
The only person here offtopic and complaining about stuff he shouldnt complain is you. And that is the irony of it. You dont like people expressing their opinions and discussing technical issues regarding the PS3 sample we have at our hands? Fine, please find a thread/section on this board that is created specifically for members to complain about other members complaining about issues.
I/ we are going to discuss with what we have in our hands. And what we have is this demo. Just like the entire Mass Effect 3 community has been talking this past week about their experience with that particular demo.
If that is too hard for you to deal with, I would suggest that you stay away from Bioware Social Network until the release of the final version. Please stop derailing the thread. This is a section for technical issues and support and there is nothing technical in your posts, only a need to sound as an apologist.

with promises from developers of I.O.Us which are game patches of fixing a game. you wouldnt buy
an album with the sound cutting out or missing a song and pay the full price. gamers need to
demand more or they always gonna be treated as they shouldnt be complaining. The happenned with skyrim, test drive unlimited 2 and many more. The funny thing is wasnt mass effect 3 delayed a year and the engine first tested on the ps3, so why the issues.

Ineed. Nice post.
With that said, anyone who has problems with this discussion is welcome to stay out of the thread. I understand the "it's already been said, nothing left but wait and see" point of view that some of you share, but indeed this forum and certainly this thread, was designed for just that. I would be nice to hear of any updates from Bioware themselves as to the status of this issue.
Afterall, many of us had put down money already for this game. There is nothing wrong with understanding exactly what it is you are getting before it gets here.
This is basically like a used car dealer. We found a car that we like, we take it for a test drive, but it doesn't run as smoothly as it should. But we really like the car so we tell the dealer only if they fix it we will buy it... Now, we're just waiting for the dealer to get back to us before we put the rest down on the car.
If they don't there's a good chance most people wouldn't buy it... So there's nothing wrong with expecting something that you are going to buy, to be of good quality and working condition.
But honestly Bioware, we REALLY want this car!

the frame rate on cutscene is indeed dreadful. but during gameplay i haven't had an issue with low frame rate, my ps3 runs me3 quite smooth, .
but the only thing that i hate is
VERY NARROW FIELD OF VIEW, .

Don't buy the game before you know more about it. The silence from BioWare is all information you need to cancel your preorders. If the game is in better condition than the demo, then get it. Otherwise, save your money to another game instead. Don't fool yourself or take a chance.
Agree! If Bioware keeps the silence, that is the best way to ensure we won't buy crap.

Sadly I have pre-ordered my CE from GAME in the UK and given their stock supply situation, which is bad, I fear that cancelling my pre-order will mean no CE at all.
So if BioWare doesn't say something before the release I will either have to cancel the pre-order (loosing probably my only chance to get the CE) or risk everything and take ME3 anyway hoping that the frame rate will be NORMAL in the final game.
In my same same situation there are probably thousands of PS3 owners all around the world so, as you can imagine, things are not easy for us.
Ironically this is the first time in my life that I have pre-ordered a CE...I love ME franchise so much that I thought that buying the CE would have been the best way to celebrate the conclusion of such an epic saga.
Now instead than being joyful and happy for the incoming release I have this terrible sensation that BioWare has abandoned me & PS3.
I want everything to go well, truly, but the more they stay silent the more my fears grow.
