That's the unfortunate part, the game will still do quite well. To me, it SEEMS that this problem isn't being attended to, only because the VOCAL minority is having it. That's how it looks at this point anyways...

Could you try turning off your firewall and play then? Also try setting your router to DMZ. If you have an xbox360 see what the NAT setting says (IT SHOULD BE OPEN). Mine is always open and i never have issues on XBL or ORIGIN.

I tried that three days ago... Nothing... For me, it's not connecting with the servers that's the problem (although, for some, it still is at that stage). I can reliably connect every single time. However, something about the connection crashes the game. The only thing I can think of at this point, is that the game can't handle trying to fetch the image in the upper right panel that pops out. Beyond that, I have no idea...

I inquired again, asking for an update, on the thread I started on the EA forums for Origin. The response:

deleting the origin folder ( placed the origingames folder somewhere else before), downloading the newest origin installer and installing it anew seemed to fix the problem for me.

Tried it and... nothing. Yup, still crashes.
Could you provide a bit more detailed explination as to what you did? (and what the problem you were trying to fix was)

I'm thinking that we may want to start a new thread. I'm thinking that perhaps because a rep has already posted on this thread, it's being ignored. Also, the title is "can't connect", so, some may be confused as to our problem. Although, for some in here, the problem is connecting.

Well, if the servers are indeed up, it didn't fix anything. Only thing changed was, I got two extra spins out of the loading circle before it crashed.

I went to the EA help section and started a chat. Can't say too much came from it. His only suggestion was to make a new admin account on the computer, then re-download and install the demo on that account. Due to lack of any other options, I'll give it a try... of course, I won't know anything until it finishes downloading in about 8 hours (slow internet).
