Yep, same here AND my three buddies on TS waiting right now to log into Origin. Thanks EA, it's weekend and we wanted to play together. Thanks for ruining that. Fix your **** during the week.

I can't tell if you're just dumb or annoying.

Barriers to user/player interaction with the product is never a good thing, and that's exactly what Origin and Steam are -- hence the very fact that we're all sitting here talking about how we can't log on to use the Multiplayer.

Lets state the things we know of problem maybe we might get a better picture of the problem and solve it ourselves ok at least for me when ever I am using the internet and I start the demo I get to the point where the top right screen loads then crashes. We know it has to do with the EA servers. Because when I start it offline it works. I am betting that it is something to do with the loading animation of the top right screen. We need to find the file that does that and delete it try it then do a repair install and try it again.

That probably isn't the entire problem, as I can't even log into Origin.  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling...a couple of times now, and now it says that their Authentification Servers are down.

So right now I can't load the Demo at all.

I can't even get Origin to open in offline mode now. Keeps giving me the "The Origin Network could not be reached" error. Fantastic program, truly remarkable.

Why does ME 3 need Origin? Ugh, seriously.

I pre ordered a collectors editon on PC and it would ****** me off if I could not figure this out because odds are the same is going to happen with the real game so lets figure this out. Yeah everyones right they are having outages lets see what happens when they fix this.

I don't believe in pirating to me it is a form of stealing. Even if they do treat you like crap I still believe in giving developers their pay of the game.

Well, I've definitely ruled out pre-ordering the Collector's Edition.

If they felt the need for a Steam-like product, why not just...use Steam?

The problem isn't really that we're flipping out about the outtage, the problem is that Origin looks -- and feels -- totally unneeded.  Why do I need to play ME3 on 'Origin' when I have ME2, and my friends, on Steam?  Which is a virtually identical product, ecept that Steam is much bigger, much more useful, and apparently more reliable?

The problem is, frankly, that this problem was totally avoidable.
