When my game connects to Alliance Network, it IMMEDIATELY crashes. I can only play single-player, and only then by setting Origin to offline beforehand.

Thats excatly my promblem Brave. Now If i disconnected my internet, I can play the game just fine because im not connected to Alliance Network, now if i stayed connected on my internet, and I connected myself to Alliance Network, after a few loading cirlces spins, the entire game stops and says, "Mass Effect 3 has stopped Working"

The game works fine to me, is just the servers or Origin that seems to not be working at all.

well... I tried going to configuration settings and lowerd all graphic settings, including Windowed mode instead of Fullscrene. i've also tried going into \\Documents\\BioWare\\Mass Effect 3 Demo\\BIOGame\\Config. But really not much improvment. I've also tried unistalling Origin itself, still no improvement. I unistalled the ME3 Demo, and reinstalled, still nothing.

I have the same issue of the demo crashing after connecting to the Alliance Network (aka EA Servers), at the same point to. The strange thing is that this is only a problem on my desktop, my laptop doesn't have this issue and I can play multiplayer there. The demo is nowhere near as smooth in gameplay on the laptop however (SP and MP), which is why I would rather be able to play multiplayer on my desktop. Both computers run Win 7 64-bit. I have tried reinstalling Origin, reinstalling the demo (I even did a complete replacement of the Demo files on the desktop with the files on the laptop), I have tried turning off firewall, changing settings in Firewall, etc. but on my desktop everytime I start the demo when in online mode in Origin it crashes at the same point after connecting to the Alliance Network. I can start and play the demo when in offline mode in Origin, but that is singleplayer only, multiplayer is not available. I hope this can be fixed somehow...

So I tried to play again today no luck 1/3 days that I could play without issue. The other 2 days I have been messing with my ports and giving origin/mass effect full access still no luck. Glad multiplayer is in beta
still looking forward to the singleplayer.

Well at least you managed to connect...i wasn't able to connect not even ONE time to Mass Effect 3 servers; always the same lame "Mass Effect server is unavailable at this time"

Well now i have the same problem. If i just play alone in private lobby its okay. But if i try to connect to anyone it disconnects...
Can't imagine why the server thing is all that bad at BW's. Don't think wrong: BW make exclusive, exellent games. My favorite ones. But they were all offline till now. Maybe it's better to make your own servers, BW, then to use EA's ones?
And the last thing - it could be better if we need origin just to LAUNCH the game. We don't need that piece of **** running&crashing, rly.

Demo means demonstration of a worthy product. It is ready.
Beta means the product isn't good enough to be demonstrated.
Alpha means the product is just assembled to meet the first testers. It has a very limited portion of content and allows to see only the basics of the game mechanics.
Don't get me wrong, but this 'demo' looks pretty much like an 'alpha' version of one. I mean, its multiplayer part.
