Hi everyone,

Some of you have noticed the new Recruitment Program app on the Mass Effect facebook page. Basically how it works is you invite someone to join the program (who isn't already in it). Once they install the app and link their Origin account (or make one and link it), you should both unlock early MP access and be able to start playing (xbox and PC only).

That said, there seem to be a few kinks we need to work out:

- the early MP badge isn't unlocking for a lot of people. The problem has been identified and is being worked on.
- however, even if the badge doesn't unlock, usually the access has still been granted. 
UPDATE: the badge unlock should be fixed. If you still dont have it unlocked, check that you have recruits who have accepted the invite and linked an account, in your lower Recruit Status screen
- you can check that by going to your profile, top left, and choosing "your registered game content". You should see a ME3 icon with "early multiplayer access - recruitment" (something like that). If you do not, then the app has not granted you what you need for some reason.
- if you think you have recruited someone and should have access, you can log into the PC or Xbox 360 demo and try to play multiplayer.

This is working for a lot of people, but unfortunately not all.  I was one of those people, and discovered at least one fix:

- my Xbox 360 gamer tag was not associated with my Origin account properly. I tested this by downloading the Madden 12 demo, which showed it was using the wrong Origin email/account (I don't necessarily mean to suggest you should all do that   
- you can check this by going to your profile (top left of the BSN screen), then click on "Your Registered Game Content". If your Xbox gamertag is "none" (or the wrong one, you have to do the next step:
- I contacted EA support via Live Chat and after a few questions they fixed it for me - voila, early MP access on Xbox 360 suddenly worked

On PC: naturally you should make sure the Origin account you linked to the facebook app is exactly the same one you log in with on Origin.  May need to restart Origin as well.  However, I'm not able to confirm a fix because my Origin for PC already had a different (internal to BioWare) early access.

Apologies to those of you experiencing troubles, we will work to rectify that asap and will update you (likely in the morning).

If you post looking for help, please include your platform, and a screen of the facebook app will help too.

For those of you that have been able to get the early access via the app, welcome to the war.

UPDATE 2: You must be 18 to access the app and the ME2 page. If you keep getting pushed back to the main facebook page, that could be the issue.

So, my EA account is linked to the app in both my Facebook account, and my wife's, because she left her FB account logged in on my computer, and I didn't notice until the deed was done. Any way to fix it so we can add her own EA account to the app under her account, so we can play multi together? (or know who I should talk to about that?)

Well, I just found out that the person you're trying to recruit CANNOT have already accessed the Recruitment Application.

If so, then the request will not work; it will just take you back to the "homepage" of the app

So I have successfully invited two people to the app but have not unlocked the MP access when I try to access it on my xbox, which is fine because I can wait the three days if I need to. I just really want to be able to get the recruitment pack thingies.

Anyway, here is some info in case it helps the tech peeps figure out what's up.

1. Using Xbox
2. Same email address for Facebook, EA/Origin, and XBL
3. Early access to SP through the ME2 UK facebook thinger
4. Pretty sure my XBL and EA should be linked because my registered content for ME2, etc, shows up on my xbox, but I honestly have no idea how that really works or how to check
5. Finished the demo Saturday before this app but it's saying I haven't finished the demo
6. It's telling me "Congratulations - you have successfully recruited at least one friend into the program." but I don't have a check mark on the box about recruiting a friend
7. All of the unlockable stuff to the right of the Objectives is not unlocked despite having recruited two people
8. The recruitment status box at the bottom shows that the two people have accepted my invite and linked to Origin but not finished the demo (which is correct)
9. When I go on Facebook's "Apps and Games" page to reply to my outstanding app invitations, I try to accept those two friends' requests but it doesn't do anything -- just shoots me back to the app page and the outstanding invites are still in the "Apps and Games" page waiting to be accepted or declined. (When I try to accept in Firefox, it sends me to a page that says "Invalid URL - The requested URL "/mass-effect/?request_ids=348473445202526", is invalid. Reference #9.45b7dc18.1329293826.2404ee5 ")
10. Using Chrome and Windows 7. Dunno if that's relevant
11. I wasn't recruited by anyone because I stumbled upon the app before looking at BSN

From what I understood from the boards, both you and your friend have to finish the demo to count as one pack unlocked.

So both your friends must finish the demo before you can unlock 2 packs, at least, that's if there isn't any bugs and/or problems.

Okay, so it says I have access, and all the people I recruited have their access, yet I can't access it. My Origin, FB and Gaertag are all linked, so I have no clue what's going on. One dude at EA said I have access and when I logged in, I didn't have mp access. So now I'm talking to another Rep and she's saying I can't get access until the 17th, so I'm super confused and they obviously have no idea what they are talking about. Any help?

Thank you That is very helpful. I'll try tomorrow after the problems are hopefully sorted out and see if I can get some of the packs to unlock by playing the demo again. I'm confused why MP didn't at least unlock because as I understand it from the boards, you and your friends don't need the SP demo to be finished for the MP to unlock .
