Good morning all - I notice that mostly folks are trying to recruit other BSN members and/or each other. That of course will work, but potentially you will find it easier (and maybe even less prone to weird errors) if you invite *other* gamer friends to try the demo (might be worth a shot for those of you having issues).


PS - if this worked for you (early MP) please post that it worked and

- did the "early mp" badge unlock in the app?
- what platform are you on?
- was mp fun?

Also, please be aware that the Recruitment Packs aren't awarded until the FULL game, not in the demo.

Last note: Recruitment Status for your invited players will ONLY start to show them once they accept the app/invite. It's a facebook limitation. So even if you sent a bunch of invites, if nobody accepted them your Recruitment Status will be empty.

I heard MP might not work if you already had early access to the SP demo.
funnily enough, i actually do have the early access SP demo.
to everyone else this isnt working with, did you have the early access demo on your xbox?

Yes, I got early access, and MP works for me.

Hmmm...Haven't tried it yet.  So...would redownloading the demo be a recommendation then or something?  Or does it seem that most "early SP demoers" are locked out for the time being?

I had early access to SP and got it to work. Not sure if that helps. Also if the app or the registered content here on the site say you have early access, you will need to reload the demo for it to take effect.

By the way the badge is unlocked for me, on the Xbox,  havent had a chance to play it yet though.

not sure, like the above person said they had the SP early access and it works for them.
Could try re-downloading it on your xbox and see what happens
either that or maybe its just the app itself that doesnt work with some people?

Make sure you "like" the mass effect (2...dont ask...) page, then accept the terms and install the app. That said, there may be issues with some browsers - might be worth trying an alternate one.

I'm wondering if my issue is that I never was recruited but have tried recruiting others. Still no luck on access to MP after logging in and out of Origin/FB over the last two hours. There is a rumour that you might need to complete the SP to gain access, if this is true then I'm going to have to just wait until the 17th because I am only interested in the MP demo and wish to avoid the spoilers of the SP.

Na you only need to complete SP for the recruit pack thingys.
also, i think i was recruited wrong because I went straight to the app instead of being recruited so maybe your theory could be right.

i recruited all 5 people and no one ever recruited me. the problem is that u have to complete the single player portion. there aren't really any spoilers. infact, it seems some cutscenes and dialogue options were omitted to prevent spoiling anything.

I tried it with IE and Chrome but I'll try the like thing now. Will report back with my findings.

The problem I found is everyone is trying to recruit, but rather, people need to be recruited, or otherwise no one can get it. If you install the app before receiving invites from other people then you have to found someone else who hasn't install the app. If this continues, no one will get anything. The early access will only unlock if you recruited someone who never used the app before you invited them.

pretty sure you dont have to complete the SP portion to unlock MP..

it might be possible that you just have to "start" the single player demo (then back out of it) to fire a flag. Might be worth testing that.
