Even as a fan of Team Dextro, this puzzled me as well. Not only is she practically invincible during the SM, she is by far the most useful squaddie.Our_Last_Scene wrote...
I don't understand how Tali and Garrus are in over Miranda, especially as they're easier to kill in the suicide mission.
I like your style, guy.EternalAmbiguity wrote...

She also can cause deaths if you listen to her.

"Any biotic can do it"

Man you people are dumb as hell. Seriously OMG X ISN'T IN THE GAME BOOOO I COULD WRITE IT BETTER! SOMEONE PAY ATTENTION TO ME AND CHANGE MY DIAPER!! The entire ME2 squad is part of the game and all of them are squad members at one point or another. They are heavily involved in the war and all doing something appropriate to their character. Why don't you do some sodding research before whining.
Some people want to have their favorite squaddie around all the time, and why shouldn't they with such great characters?
One point or another could mean we get one mission out of 100. 1% of the game is not "heavily".

Well I feel like we should have some characters in this case being Tali and Garrus. That are permanent in all 3 games. I would like more characters to return, but clearly Bioware didn't have enough time to give everyone what they want.In your opinion.aznsoisauce wrote...

While "Any biotic can do it" reasonable, ain't she one of the 3 perfect leader picks? On both fire teams.

Good lord, I'm LOL until now!!!
It's interesting that I loved Liara in ME1, but what they did with her in ME2 displeased me a lot.
At least people have a point, Miranda certanly should be in Shepard's squad if she survive the suicide mission, she's an integral part of the story, her background fits her abilities (designed to be perfect, being good in all) and she's side with Shepard leaving Cerberus behind.
Is also funny because most of the times I played as Sheploo I dated Jack, but I liked what they did to her.
No one deserves more peace and stability than her, after the sh*t she was into.
Hope she forms one hell of a Biotic squad for our war assets.
But I'm talking about personal preference, I don't have much against Tali and Garrus, but at least one member of the new ME2 characters should be a squad member in ME3, regardless who is.
Is funny because the one who makes even less sense than Tali/Garrus is Liara.
I mean, she's the SB now and collecting info for helping Shepard makes more sense than fighting along his/her side.

1%? Hardly. They become your special ops and commanders they will be with you at the end when it all goes down.

I was just saying 1% as an example. If you can't interact with them a fair amount they might as well not be there. How could you know that without reading leaks? You're telling people to read the leaks to research so they can whine? THEY WILL WHINE MORE.

Still having at least one mission with the Mass Effect 2 Squaddies (DLC TOO!) and they are there with you somehow in the final battle. Would be something I would love.

It's funny how much sh*t Tali gets when Garrus is at the same fault, and Liara is worse. I think when people found out that Tali fans had an impact on the game(s) people got jealous. Also Garrus has alot of Bromancers out there.Durgon Ironfist wrote...

You be nice to him. He puts Wrex to shame and is just barely beaten by Garrus with his awesomeness.

Cuz Bioware doesn't want a freaking squad of 16 (6 from ME1 and 10 new from ME2)
Cuz Bioware likes to have new squadmates per game.
Cuz some squads don't need to come back.
Cuz Garrus and Tali are popular
Cuz they can
Cuz they did
Cuz you gotta deal with it.

I don't know, but he must be amazing if he's more awesome then the future leader of the Krogan race. That's if he doesn't die of course.

None of them are in me3 as full squad besides tali and garrus who were in mass effect 1. I spent all me2 building the ultimate squad only to never have them aginst the reapers due to some fake bs bioware will make up.
I at least hope everyone will come together for final battle from all the games even if there not in hole thing.
When Bioware stood in front of you and dropped his pants, you walked away, and the Talimancer next to you immediately got on his knees with mouth wide open.
Now you're paying the price of it.

I came to this franchise via Mass Effect 2, and on a related note, The Dirty Dozen is one of my very favorite films. So, what do you do if you make a sequel and then your game of the year squad is comprised primarily of characters who did not appear in "act 1" so to speak and whom - depending on decisions and actions your fans make as a gamer - may not survive the very suicide mission that they were recruited to participate in?
I later went back and played through the original Mass Effect, but the sequels squad members will always resonate more for me as a fan, than Ashley, Kaidan or Wrex (and I like those guys, too). Tali and Garrus get a pass, since they returned in ME2. Would I like to have some of the second act gang as permanent squad members in the new game? Hell yes to infinity, but I've tried to understand and not be petulant about this issue. We all know that "everyone" returns in some capacity, that in itself is an acknowledgment by Bioware that these characters mattered to much of their fanbase.
All we can do is cut them some slack, and be thankful for a chance to see any of these fun characters once again. I have no idea how it will all hash out for the endgame, but I do look forward to finding out in a few weeks.

I apologize. I did not mean as a character. Her advice is so awful. I feel embarassed for her every time I get to the part where she introduces herself as "Shepard's second in command".DifferentD17 wrote...

"Any biotic can do it"
But Miri is the most useful in combat. Maxing out her class in either route buffs the squad. She has both Overload and Warp. These are facts.
Now for an opinion: a well-timed Slam on a Collector is probably the most hilariously convenient thing in any game ever.
