You're talking absolute nonsense. And you're deluded if you think Bioware are changing the leaks. This same **** happened to Epic with Gears 3 and lo behold the game was exactly as the leaks said, despite Epic saying it was old script.

Plus, everything we've seen in trailers so far has been perfectly in line with the leaks.

Jack is NOT a squadmate, her role is VERY detailed in the leaks.

But I do agree with the OP, and feel his main point is why so little Miranda? And I agree, the hell bioware really. Why so little Miranda? Cheat bait and to color cerberus grey and now brushed aside? She deserved better. Pretty sure shes not just a tool to used by her father, by cerebrus and by bioware. yeah.

Because NOT everyone likes Miranda and some people like other squaddies more? You can't make Miranda a permanent squaddie and give the rest of the ME2 squaddies the shaft

I would argue with you but you support Zaeed (+10 internet points) and have Batman in your name (+ 1,000,000,000 internet points) so I can't argue with such greatness.

It seems like BioWare learned nothing from the fan-backlash of ME2. Some groups were majorly upset that characters from the first game were reduced to (bad) cameos and BioWare have done it again with the ME2 squad in ME3.

I think this mess is a direct result of poor planning on part of the writers. When they thought up this group of 10 + squadmates did they bother to think about how these characters would evolve, how their storylines would progress, etc.? Or were they always meant to be disposable? And if so, why make any of them love interests?

They've created an imbalance by having certain LIs on the squad and others not. If your LI is on the squad you get the whole game with them but if not you get a mission. How is that fair? I dislike how some groups are being catered to while others are reduced to an after-thought.

Because BW is ungrateful to the people who jumped on in ME2. Which was alot. BW is now trying to sell more copies by Creating a Call of Duty generic cookie cutter way to play the single player story mode and adding a Multiplayer component to the game.

All the while telling fans that all character relationships will have a great epic conclusion. While not true, fans of the ME2 cast are getting the shaft. My favorite characters were members of ME2 squad and crew.

When Companies attempt to give a generic cookie cutter Shooter single player mode and adding more focus to Multiplayer is a big step over the edge, it's an attempt to grab more sells , and in BW case it sort changes fans of ME1 and 2.

BW had something great with ME it was completely unique and original in the Video Game market.I don't care if the Mutliplayer is optional or not it's just another waste of time and effort that could have been used giving fans the best experience out there, and letting them have more time with their favorite characters.

By companies doing things like focusing on a generic cookie cutter single player mode and spending time on Multpilayer to get a CoD/Halo experience is alarming to me it concerns me and I think it can destroy a sizable part of the industry.

Why do you think there are so many Cerberus fans out there? Becuase their first experince into ME was on the PS3 with ME2 and had never seen the stuff Cerberus did in ME1.

Bottom line the rants and anger are justifiable. I'll try and reserve judgement and hope that things are not as messed up as they seem, but I have my doubts BW really made anything better. In which case I would then suggest we take our anger and Burn this place to the ground making the wraith of the Tali-mancers look small time.

I posted my own thoughts on how the squad should or could have been handled

Well said, thanks.

Also, this can go along with the "poor planning" point you mentioned, but the whole concept of the suicide mission was done in an idiotic way too. The "Everyone can die, including you" ending should be reserved for the no-holds-barred ending to the series, not the friggin halfway point. All that is going to do is alienate fans of one character, and promote gloating from fans of another.

BW has planned absolutely nothing. This is as plain as day with a number of things not just squadmates and LIs.

You really have to wonder what they were thinking with creating a "suicide mission" where it's easier to make it out without a scratch(or at the most lose a handful of squadmates) than fail it or have something as important as LOTSB be DLC while a bunch of irrelevant daddy issues are part of the main story.

Not only are they showing bad planning skills but they have F*cukin messed up set of priorities. IF they found a way to get Tali and Garrus (Team Dexo is it?) than there is no reason they couldn't find a way to have other fan favorites in the squad.

But Bioware (I'm gonna say it yet again) thought it was more important to have a Standard Shooter game play mode with cut scenes rather than conversations. Wonder how much the conversations got butchered for that to happen?

Most the squad from ME2 I liked better than the ME1 squad. Samara, Jack, Thane, Miranda, Legion, Zaeed, and Mordin hands down beat the squad of Liara, Kaida, Ashley, Tali, and the only ME1 squad mates that can compete in awesomeness with those ME2 characters are Garrus and Wrex.

Instead we get new crew and squad characters that consist of a Snooki version of Al-Jalani, a lesbian Kelly Chambers, a ****** Joker to fly the Koidak shuttle, and Roid Rage Vega who may as well be walking around without a shirt to show off his Roid Muscles,

You'd be whining too if your purple prostitute and blue lizard weren't squadmates.

By the way welcome back from your ban. Lets see you hold an argument without resorting to pony pics or logging in your alt account (gmagnum).

Truly the best thing about these threads is how they are rarely about characters like Wrex or Mordin. But the love interests. Bioware Social Network ladies and gentleman.

Probably because both characters are already featured in the leaks/demo plus its pretty much certain that they won't be squadmates. Their fans have probably given up.

There's still high demand for Grunt and Legion though...

... What are you saying? If you've also noticed, all of the complaints are focused towards the ME2 exclusive characters, which is perfectly justified. Favorite character is relegated to a mission +2 conversations worth of interaction in a 40+ hour game.

People aren't complaining about Wrex or Mordin because they likely already know from the leaks thar their parts (Especially Mordin's) are flippin' awesome.
