"Fake bs"? The entire game if fake.

You really expected people that were killable to get the same treatment as Liara and the VS? Seriously, by your logic, Wrex got "shafted" as well.

Eh....the ME 2 exclusive people did get shafted. Don't just spit out the bs about killable. Technically I could have got Tali and Garrus killed, yet both are in the game. My guess is they didn't want to deal with so many variables even though that is exactly what they said they would be doing. Instead of working in crew mates we actually had history with they picked the two characters that have been in both games, added back the people you had no chance of killing, and gave us tin ****** and the jarhead which no on really asked for.

Pay little attention to aLucidMind's views. He's a regular wanker at the Tali thread. He and his fellow freaks would be QQ spamming BSN if it turned out that their buckethead wasn't a squadmate, or in the demo.

Oh wait they're doing that now.

But it is totally acceptable for the other fanthreads to act like children because [internet waifu here] did not get onto the squad.

Act like children? LOL their behaviour isn't even near the level of immaturity as a whining Talimancer. You should have seen certain folks e.g. Someone With Mass HOWLING and threatening to hurt people if his purple masturbation fantasy wasn't a squadmate in ME3. This was way back before the leaks though, so not many would remember.

But no one took them seriously of course, because its easy to outrun fat people.

LOL whoever this Ticktank is he must be really proud to know that he has left such a legacy behind. Even after being banned, the people he has tormented are making paranoid accusations everytime they get butt ripped.

Btw you fell for the bait, SMW! I mean...Sofia Lamb. Why bother hiding behind another alt when your main already gets no respect?

This is like the 2nd time I'm referred to as this Ticktank fellow. Imma do a post search to see just how he/she mentally scarred you. Hehehehe

Errm... No one is acting like a child.

And they aren't complaining because of the lack of squad status.

Ahhh yes Biobleh I knew you had been an ally of mine somewhere not logn ago on these boards, now I remember it had something to do with me siding with you in a debate againts Cthulhu42 and the name Ticktank was dropped and you got called it and since then I hadn't seen Cthulhu42 or AdmiralCheez on here.

@AgitatatedLemon it's good to know I'm not the only one who is fine with Mordin's badass role in ME3. Not to mention we seem to share the same veiw on ME3 exculsive Characters. I may have to friend Lemon and BioBleh.

With Deep Concern: the fact that Thane, Samara, Jack, Legion, Miranda, Zaeed, Grunt, Jacob T., Kasumi, and Kelly Chambers are getting sh!t on in favor of team Dexto is upsetting to say the least.

Is it really surprising some people feel slighted though? This is the last game in the trilogy and I imagine most people would want to spend the game with their favorite characters around as much as possible.

It's unfair that some people get the chance to do that while others don't. It was BioWare's idea to create such a large squad and have them go through the suicide mission. The onus is on them to write for those characters while considering all the variables and outcomes that entails. They chose the easy way out for themselves at the cost of fan enjoyment.

It's too much work, so they didn't do it. It's natural that the fans they didn't cater to feel alienated. BioWare succeded in making them care about character X, only to sideline said character. Not a good feeling.

I like a few of the ME2 squadies and while I'm sad I won't have them on my team full time I'm interested in seeing what they are up to and how my Sheps relation with them shaped their own actions.

I hear ya brother this is not at all a good feeling. I had been a fan of Liara's but she's gotta go now, She lost what I loved about her, and She keeps getting shoved in my face. Kinda like Wolverine, used to like him now I hate him.

Anyway the whole ME1 cast sucks except for Wrex and maybe Garrus.
My A  team would consist of the following
1.Samara
2.Thane
3.Jack
4.Miranda
5.Legion
6.Zaeed
7.Jacob T.
8.Garrus
9.Grunt
10.Batarian Squadie
11.Hendel Mitra
12,Kelly Chambers as my Yeoman
13.Joker as the ONLY poilte
14.Conrad Verner just to p!ssOff Talimancers

and support from
1.Wrex
2.Mordin
3.Liara
4.Anderson

What does Conrad Verner have to do with Tali? I don't get it.

And Wolverine is awesome; how can you hate him? Unless you're talking about that Origins movie, because that was pretty bad.

Because I can only image Tali-Mancers being POed about Conrad being on a squad when Tali isn't.
And Wolvering has been shoved in my face when ever I open a Marvel Comic, Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic 4, DareDevil, and he even randomly popped up for no reason in an issue of ShadowLand and there was no point to it other because some idoit thought the book need a few scenes with Wolverine in the backgroud saying "Bub".

I (we all do) have no ability to affect what BioWare's gonna do with the ME2 squadmates, but in my honest opinion they're just a lot cooler than ME1 ones.

Jacob, Miranda, Morinth, Mordin, Legion, and Thane (of course~) really deserve more.

Too many of them, not enough are well liked, some are just pale reflections of other characters or just downright terrible (Grunt and Samara respectively), and others... well idk. Legion, Mordin (if voiced by Beattie), or Miranda were well liked enough to be in the final game. And they should be instead of Vega...

Yeah, screw all those other characters that have fan followings!

Only my personal favorites are valid!

This statement goes both ways, and applies to just about every BSN user.

Garrus and Liara were given a spotlight because they had the most popularity. My impression is that Tali got a larger role because Bioware was pleased to see a character they thought would have only a minor following turn out to be incredibly well received. The "mistake" they made was creating a massive squad in the sequel with several more likable characters who achieved large followings but still were not as large as the previous three mentioned (no matter how noisy). In addition, they never made ME1 for PS3, so that chunk of the fanbase only got to experience the characters from the second game. What do you want them to do, give the spotlight to the characters with smaller but loud followings instead of the majority? Sorry, that defies business logic.

Would I be upset if my favorite characters were left out in the cold? Yeah, I'm still a bit down about Mordin's more minor role. You won't see me throwing a fit about it though, because that does absolutely nothing for the problem (especially after the game has gone gold). What I find the most ridiculous though are the people complaining loudly that this is all due to Bioware pandering to "immature children", when they themselves are the ones whining the loudest and throwing tantrums as if it solves anything. Toddlers do that.

Hello, Mr. Ticktank. Still suffering from that low self-esteem I see.

Both of you shut the hell up. What you're doing is against the site rules and your antics can and likely will get this perfectly legitimate thread locked.

As I've said Bioware set themselves up for a situation where they had to bring someone back or else risk pissing everyone off or bring back only a few and suffer the wrath of only part of the fanbase.

They obviously chose the lesser evil.

It had to be Garrus and Tali because, whether the people here like those characters or not, they are mathematically the most popular and thus the only logical choices.

These threads are completely pointless now. The game has already gone gold and they aren't changing anything. Everyone will have to deal with it.
