Title is self-explainatory. Can't seem to get either to work.
Does Voice Chat or Text Chat work?

Voice chat does.. Text chat doesn't as far as I can tell the hotkey is there though "t"

If you're on PC, voice chat works by holding down Tab. You can change the hotkey, set it to "always on," or turn it off completely in the options menu. Double-check that it's using the proper input device.

Hopefully we'll be getting text chat. It's clearly a planned feature. They probably just couldn't fit it in yet.

Implementing text chat in any highly combat intensive game tends to be a hindrance due to slow typists stopping and trying to tell others something, and then getting themselves killed and compromising position,strategy, etc.
If I were to give the developers any advice, it'd be NOT to add text chat. I repeat, slow typists must abstain from using text chat. AKA 90% of the internet.

But it WOULD make a whole lot of sense to have it in the lobby.

You say this as if games like CS, BF, UT, etc don't have text chat.
