Have to assume it's just a component of the straight port from the 360. I'll be pretty pissed if he's dead on import from ME2 and alive on new game in ME3.

I guess what I'm saying is there anyway to know if he lived or died in ME2 unless you played ME1 and know if he live?

I don't remember him dying at all previously, but it has been a long time since I've played the last two.

I can confirm that Kirrahe's tagged deceased on ps3. Mordin states that he's "sorry to hear he died on Virmire."
Afaik Wrex is dead in ME2 too, if you create a new Shepard, right?
So either BW changed the "canon" with ME3 - if you start a new playthrough in ME3, Kirrahe & Wrex may be alive again

Genesis saves Wrex, you can choose to kill him or not.
But what got me thinking is maybe Mordin heard wrong?

What I did was create a Male Shepard, (Kaiden died), Spacer, War Hero and did paragon things in the first part of the demo or... something.
And then Kirrahe appeared in the 2nd part of the demo. Odd.

I am going to be so sad in the final game when someone else is there in stead of Kirrahe and I cant do anything about it.
I CANT HOLD THE LINE!

Man I want Kirrahe in the final game. But I dont think they can pull a 180 from 2 to 3 with him being dead no matter what you do. I guess they could just keep him alive if you only play 3 and not 2. But then people who played 2 get the shaft since we cant see one of the greatest characters in Mass Effect, EVER.

What's so great about Captain Kirrahe?
I'm really not sure. It could be his epic speach :
It could be he just is a total BADA** or the fact that he is the one character from Mass Effect 1 I actually give a damn about but I cant do anything to save him.

I just watched it, his speech was nice, but seriously, of all the deep and well-written characters introduced in this series, he's the ONLY one you give a damn about? You must have hated ME2 then.Darkfoxz87 wrote...

All right I kinda said that wrong. I never played 1, I only watched Walkthroughs on Youtube, so I could never connect to the characters. But when I saw that Speach for the first time..I had chills down my back. I was in awe. I guess thats why I love the character so much. Even though it wasn't me playing I was still in awe.
I loved 2 had some great characters and I could interact with my self. I know Wrex and Garrus were in 1 (2 of my favorite characters) but when I first talked to them/met them it was in 2 so I met them in 2 and not 1.
See what I am getting at? If not I cant blame you I can never get thoughts from my head to the paper (or keyboard in this case)

You need to give his team the one you want to survive virmire.Luan wrote...
I haven't had a SINGLE ME1 playthrough in which he hasn't died...and I tried hard! I'm sure they'll come up with an explanation, like, the salarians extracted him before he bled to death...maybe he just got knocked out or something
Then you need to help his team by destryoing everything that may give them trouble and then make sure you dont send troops their way.
That is how I saved him on the PC.

Um i think you just have to help them out as they attack Saren base; i had kaidan join his squad, he later died on my playthrough and yet Kirrahe survived.lolerk53 wrote...
