That's the problem. You console tards would still be happy if they threw turds at you, you'd still eat it up, cause you dont care about quality.
You are dumb, lazyass potheads who turn the console on for 1 hour just to pass time while sitting there, drooling, doped out of your mind.
Seriously, grow up and learn to tolerate other people's opinions on how they like to play their games.
The graphics look like total crap :(

Its definetly not all of them. I know some PC gamers that i really like, but the Elitists give them a really bad name.

Wow, the PC elitists in here are just annoying. I've heard people complain about PC fanboys, and I always wondered why, I thought "how could they be worse then any other fanboy?". Well... I see why now. You guys make other fanboys look outright fun to be around. Trying to scapegoat consoles, bashing everyone that isn't one of their own with petty insults, saying that consoles and console gamers should 'fvck off'.
So you know what, your PC market is already is a dieing industry, it's been spiraling downward for years, which is why you act like this. It's just a bunch of fanboys in denial that their favorite gaming system constantly gets overlooked and is on its way out, so they lash out at everyone and everything like a terrified hamster that has a dog about to eat it. So go ahead, keep bashing consoles and console gamers while you can, because 10 years from now, your favorite market (PC games) will be gone, leaving you to either get over it and buy one of the "oh so terrible consoles", or stop gaming. Either way, at least the constant whining about consoles will end at last.
If you want to know why I just started this rude rant, it's in response to you people. If you actually tried to be even slightly respectful of gamers that own other systems besides yours, I would be respectful back. But no, you decided to completely throw out civility, so I'm just going to respond in kind. Honestly, I'm usually one of the most friendly and respectful people you could ever find on a message board, but reading this topic kind of snapped me.
Sales for PC games has actually been on the rise for the last couple of years, and there never was a big drop in the sales to begin with, Take steam for example. when you looked at the graph that shows user activity, 1½ years ago it would peak at about 2 mill, now it peaks at over 4 million.
That is just one such system. I dont see PC going out as a platform, in fact it is stronger than ever at the moment. A good indication of that is the fact you have services like Origin, Desura etc. popping up wanting to take a slice of that Pie.
They bash on consoles generally because they think its the cause our games that are ported from console to PC come out as handicapped. While the real reasons behind are just simple corporate economics. Path of least effort to please as many customers as possible, the elitsist are a minority anyway.
The only valid arguments we may have about Console ports Are the controls being "consolified" for PC, and then the devs encrypting the files so you cant mod them. For example borderlands, didnt really suffer from graphics loss due to port, but the vehicle controls were iffy due to console porting.
Alot of the time, you see the flames flare up actually between 360 and ps3 users, but then someone comes along and says "buy it for PC, or Buy a pc" its a good statement, since if your not happy with your version of the game, but dont want to buy a product from a company you call the satan, pc is a nice middle ground, but if you go proposing something like that, people dont realize he was suggesting a middle way solution, and label him a PC elitist. In most cases it is the people who start console flame wars, who point the PC elitists... Let that sink in for a while.

I took a screenshot of the graphical options not present in the demo compared to ME2, the extras in ME2 are underlined. The one thing the demo had that my ME2 config doesn't is Anti-aliasing (not really a problem since there's the nvidia controls for me). So aside from texture sizes, I think this pretty much explains the graphics. Makes sense for a demo! (if the image is too small just right click it and "view image")

I got a XfX GTX285 triple X edition, Intel E7300, 4gigs of 1333mhz ram(underclocked to 1033) , and Creative X-Fi Xtreme audio PCI version. all on a Asrock 4core twins 1600 p35d. And i am still able to play all the latest games, such as skyrim(with high res texture mods) , BF3. and some other games i love such as ME2. With a 1080p res. AA x4 or higher and other graphical goodies cranked up with smooth 50 fps(i use vsync since my philips 32" cant go past 50hz on vsync.).
So i would say you will be able to enjoy the game without a problem

- Bioware catering to console noobs;
- Bioware catering to loyal fanboys;
- Bioware catering to newer fans, but neglecting “old”, “loyal”, and “old school” fans;
- Bioware bowing down do to the wishes of their EA overlords;
- This game is going to be the worst Bioware game ever!!!111!!! Just look at *insert random game here*!!!!
- Dumbing down of RPG elements;
- This game does not have the things that I want;
- This game is not similar to it’s predecessor.

If you haven't, try adjusting the in-game graphics setting. There is a brightness meter and it helps from my experience.Kethilyn Rose wrote...
My only problem is that for some reason, my graphics are super dark. I can barely even see Kai's face, Shepards face, or Anderson's for that matter. I've got a decent graphics card that runs ME-2 like a dream, so I'm unsure of why this one is SO dark. I'm hoping they'll be offering cinematic lighting again in the settings.

This argument is beyond me. I thought the graphics were impressive. Notably better than ME2 and DA2.
This. People can complain all they want about any aspect of the game, but save for dialog/storytelling, ALL other areas are clear improvements.
It's not Crysis, but who expected it to be? It is what it is, an improvement over the previous games.

Crysis is old already and NOONE expected Crysis graphics I however did expect something more from a Triple AAA 2012 title.

Yeah expected leaps and bounds when it was said during ME2's pre-release press that the engine was basically the backbone for the final installment. Why do you expect it to look so much better? The engine was in place since 2010, and even then it looks significantly better than ME2.
I for one realized the limitations of BioWare's warped UE3 since ME1. This was a long time coming. Nevertheless, it looks far from horrible or outdated.

I already tried that. It helped a little but not enough to help with the darkness of the game.

Like ME3, ACB/R are console ports too. Why do those games have great textures, and why does ME3 not? It can't be that hard to replace certain textures for higher resolution ones...

I know right? I think people have 20-20 hindsight.
This video is from BioWare's much loved 2003 classic, "Star Wars: Knights of the Old republic." This is the beginning, after the pre-rendered opening: http://youtu.be/BhbEUEgZulc?t=1m19s
Compared to the Mass Effect 3 demo: http://youtu.be/ah6OAaekaWw?t=4m48s
Do people think this really looks bad?
I think the Mass Effect series is are some of the best looking games out there. No, they may not be on the bleeding edge of graphic fidelity, but it terms of graphic design? Absolutely!
The Normandy, The Citadel, Garrus, Liara, Wrex and Grunt. I'd put any of them up against a game like Rage, with its mega-textures and what have you. I'd prefer
Mass Effect 3, looking like this, than Battlefield 3 maxed out.
Because Turians are more interesting to look at than generic army soldiers.Mass Effect games may not be technically proficient, but they are some of the most interesting games to look at.

Assuming the hype, ME3 will have a much greater narative than ACB, a lot more dialogue means a lot more voice files, for a game to flow smoothly they need to place as many assets as possible into ram so that they don't need to be loaded from disk, imagine choosing the next dialogue option and the response needs to be pulled from disk, you'd end up with a delay, to put it simply, the more of one type of asset you have loaded into memory, the less room there is for other assets.Chiefje wrote...
Ok, for everyone saying the crappy graphics are caused by consoles, why don't you compare assassins creed brotherhood/revelations with ME3?
