Oh great, another thread about one of the following subjects:

- Bioware catering to console noobs;
- Bioware catering to loyal fanboys;
- Bioware catering to newer fans, but neglecting “old”, “loyal”, and “old school” fans;
- Bioware bowing down do to the wishes of their EA overlords;
- This game is going to be the worst Bioware game ever!!!111!!! Just look at *insert random game here*!!!!
- Dumbing down of RPG elements;
- This game does not have the things that I want;
- This game is not similar to it’s predecessor.

This, BSN just wants to moan about anything tbh, it's like wows comunnity, nothing can make them atleast say more then once ''Good Job bioware! well done :)'' -.-

In case you failed to notice, ME2 did have 2D asari models on the Illium hub. Nothing to lose sleep over.

Okay, these are a couple of comments I've seen.
To paraphrase...
"People should be playing the game not looking down there"
"Why would players zoom in on the scene"

So basically what you are saying, it was a waste of time rendering those sprites, to which after seeing it in the demo, I agree!

Thought it was actually pretty funny. Like a homage to Space Invaders. That's just my self-justification though.

I noticed them in the demo, got disapointed for a second then I realized that I don't really give a **** and moved on to the awesome combat.

Thats weird, because they werent running sideways when I played the demo earlier. Its on XBOX if that makes any difference.

Let's look at the real issue here. Shepard watched all those people running across the parking lot and didn't wave. Talk about rude.

Sad part is, the 2D people have a better running animation then the 3D people do.

They'd be fine if they weren't running at the wrong angle.

For something that far away it seems pointless to make full 3D characters, but the angle the 2D ones are running at is a bit off - they look like they're running sideways.

Well done biowar e. Super realistic 2D graphics featured in Mass Effect 3's demo.

Haha, yeah, I spot that too. 'twas funny. But to keep the performance stable, you have to make sacrifices, and it only really appears in the corner. (The demo didn't really leave much space for exploration, did it?)

Anyways, if you want to see something funny graphics-wise, create a custom FemShep, then pause the game during a fight, rotate the camera and look at that smile. That's just funny.

Consoles couldn't handle all the animations and because of the 7 years old hardware in them. Also lackluster amount of memory in those junksoles.

you guys just dont get it. obviously, in the future, the music of Michael Jackson has a renaissance. So much so, that the citizens of the galaxy take every opportunity possible to practice their dance moves. this is obvious sideways moon walking, very fitting in a space faring society.
