Indeed !!! It's all in good spirit !! Extremely funny, and if some developer made them on purpose well all the better, who cares about paper ant people, I spent like 10 minutes gawking at the reaper at the beginning.

when you zoom in on one of the towerng buildings and sharpen it a bit, you can count 20 lines of windows, thats 20 lvls, assuming a lvl is about 3m in height, it would be 60m... and the skyscrapers are 3-5x taler, the reapers justa a bit above that and only with the tips of their "tails".... annoying

Wait, are some of you actually serious about this being a serious fault? I think it's obvious this isn't finalized work, given how badly animated those sprites are (especially the perspective is all wrong given that they're all running directly away from the POV, but they're animated like they're running from left to right). If the angle was right, in my opinion using sprites is a perfectly legit option for showing a large, moving crowd in the distance that you can only see from a fixed position. Especially given the limited resources of consoles it might be a necessary compromise and it'd look good enough.

But it's probably just a temporary asset and you'll see 3D people in the final game. And it won't ruin my experience anyway even if they're left like they are in the video, I don't see how anyone could say it would. Such a small detail.

I'm hoping a lot of people in here "complaining" are joking. I found it kinda funny myself.

Reminded me of the elcor walking in ME2's background of the citadel. I wouldn't be surprised if its not "just a demo" thing either as its really nothing big at all but if anyone really complains about it as a serious fault, they've got some issues.

I'm surprise some people failed notice until this thread. I think I stopped for 10 minutes just to watch the ant people running and the Reapers attacking. The trees are 2D, too.

And I think we had sprites in ME2 as well. On Illium and the Presidium.

lol funny, i noticed it on 4th playthrough of demo, only so that i could pay attention to the environment.
noticed the 2d ppl they were running in the right direction at first. so i continued through the wreckages of earth, then i noticed they decided to start running sideways.

yes abit dissappointed, but then i got overwhelmed by the fact that i was playing masseffect 3 and my romance option needed rescueing from the goddamn reapers.

NOW IF WERE GOING TO LET SOME POOR 2D PEOPLE RUNNING SIDEWAYS FOR THEIR LIVES BOTHER US. THEN WE SHALL STOP THE DEMO, CANCEL PREORDERS... AND THEN GO PREORDER STREET FIGHTER X TEKKEN
