What you just said is bull. Piracy isn't classed as theft. It's illegal sure but it's not stealing or theft, theft/stealing is depriving someone of a possession, piracy doesn't do this, it creates a copy of the original, the original owner still has thier game.
And how are piraters not justified? There are many reasons why piracy happens. Overpricing for example. A bluray box set of a television series often costs hundreds of dollars. Who in their right mind would pay for that? Why does the customer have to wait for 1 or 2 years for this box set to finally be on the shelves?
Why bother with DRM? It's completely inconvenient and unnecessary, and it's punishing the legitimate customer. Pirates can get around it easily.
Speak with your wallet. It is the greatest way to get your point across. Believe me, piracy is not ruining the PC indusrty, you're certainly brainswashed into believing that tripe though.
I certainly don't buy a game if I feel it doesn't deserve my money. For the record, I did buy Skyrim, I enjoyed it immensely. I did not buy Assassins creed 2 however, I pirated it, because Ubisoft doesn't deserve any money for f*cking PC players in the ass.
It's their product and their service. They're damn well entitled to establish whatever terms of sale they want. The consumer has the right to buy the product or speak with their wallet by walking away, not to circumvent the entire process. Your attitude of "ZOMG IT'S SO UNFAIR, PIRATES ARE JUST!" is just pitiful. If you don't like the price for the service, ****** off.
