Very few people have a PC that is good enough to make use of DX11. If anything DA2 proved that it wasn't a particularly great idea. I think i'd rarther see a game that is able to be played by everyone than just people who spend stupid amounts of money on a PC setup.

People need to realise it's not financially a good idea to only target people with the very best PC's since that is like 3% of the market.

PC gamers brought the most sales for ME2

lol Elitists "im better than you because of what platform i play my games on" your not superior for playing on a diffrent platform than others, the fact that you think you are is laughable.

I'm not reading every topic on this forum, but most time i see this kind of speaking  its from console gamers

I don't feel that im better then you or anyone, just because i spend more money on my hobbies , but pc's hw is allways better then consoles hw
and only thing i want are games suitable for pc like graphic or controls at least :P
I like ME1 more then Me2 not only for story, inventory or skill tree  , but possibility to map keys to actions like squad window or journal

or its too much i want from todays games ? probably yes

just because you play on pc doesn't make you a pc elitist, its think your better than other people BECAUSE you play on pc is being a pc elitist your clearly nt one :)

Why do the mods allow threads like this to even pass 1 page? They are obvious troll topics to bait people.

Bioware is aiming this game specifically at the casual console crowd that likes to play mindless games like COD, but the console players never asked for this in the first place.

I absolutely agree with you there -  you know better weapons that are unlocked at higher levels, ability to customise your weapon with different upgrades and ammo types, big set pieces, explosions... exactly the kinds of things that are in, as you say, mindless, games like Call of Duty....

.....oh and all these things were also in Mass Effect 1

Also dumbing it down like Dragon Age 2..... like repeatedly using the same dungeons and level layouts even though they're in different areas and made by various different races in different eras etc....

.....oh and these things were also in Mass Effect 1

Irony is such sweet sorrow

What the hell is ironic about my post?

I said yes bioware is making the game for the console type of player. And then I said console players don't actually ask for this. It's just happening.

I think you better look up the definition of a word before you go throwing it around in an attempt to look intelligent.

The irony is your implicit assertion that Bioware appears to be trying to forge a path where the Mass Effect franchise is becoming more like Call of Duty when in fact there are many things that can be seen to have parallels between Call of Duty-esque, so-called 'mindless' games and the franchise going back to Mass Effect 1, in a similar vein the whole popular notion of ME 'becoming like DA2' also has massive flaws.

I may not like this topic or the OP, but I'll be damned if that isn't a good comeback, I'll have to use that some time now.

What you just said is bull. Piracy isn't classed as theft. It's illegal sure but it's not stealing or theft, theft/stealing is depriving someone of a possession, piracy doesn't do this, it creates a copy of the original, the original owner still has thier game.

And how are piraters not justified? There are many reasons why piracy happens. Overpricing for example. A bluray box set of a television series often costs hundreds of dollars. Who in their right mind would pay for that? Why does the customer have to wait for 1 or 2 years for this box set to finally be on the shelves?

Why bother with DRM? It's completely inconvenient and unnecessary, and it's punishing the legitimate customer. Pirates can get around it easily.

Speak with your wallet. It is the greatest way to get your point across. Believe me, piracy is not ruining the PC indusrty, you're certainly brainswashed into believing that tripe though.

I certainly don't buy a game if I feel it doesn't deserve my money. For the record, I did buy Skyrim, I enjoyed it immensely. I did not buy Assassins creed 2 however, I pirated it, because Ubisoft doesn't deserve any money for f*cking PC players in the ass.

It's their product and their service. They're damn well entitled to establish whatever terms of sale they want. The consumer has the right to buy the product or speak with their wallet by walking away, not to circumvent the entire process. Your attitude of "ZOMG IT'S SO UNFAIR, PIRATES ARE JUST!" is just pitiful. If you don't like the price for the service, ****** off.

You speak as if Mass Effect was a PC franchise that someday Bioware decided to turn it to a console one.
But it's not the case.
The case is that M.E. was once an RPG game and Bioware decided to turn it to a modern shooter, complete with grey-brown shades everywhere.

And you should find more constructive uses for your time. Justify your points or shut up simple as that.

Am I the only one who finds it weird that the PC Elitists call themselves the "Master Race"? Hmm, what other group of people were obsessed with being the "Master Race"?

PC gamers don't reffer to themselves as Master Race.

Insecure console peons do.

My PC has comparable specs to an Xbox 360. It's an early 2008 MacBook. :D

Therefore, as a Penniless Noble, I stand resolutely with the Console Peasants.

Uh, Mass Effect was initially an exclusive for the 360. No reason for the PC Master race to be complaining.
