Uh, Mass Effect was initially an exclusive for the 360. No reason for the PC Master race to be complaining.
Thanks consolepeasants for ruining a great game.

I've started reading it.tetrisblock4x1 wrote...

It's a lot to read at once, so you should make sure you have a couple of hours of free time before diving in.
Basically my stance on the subject is very simple. If you pirate a game that you originally didn't intend to buy anyway, then there's no money being lost by the company. Piracy nowadays feels more like an excuse than anything else, PC gets marginalized because it is the ugly duck of the bunch. The community is different, the demand is different, the development processes are different. Much of the time the developers just don't care...
Look at Bioware for instance. Dragon Age: Origins was the last game where they spent some effort providing a decent experience on PC, and it was awesome. From there on out they just got lazy, or don't really care.
Thank you for the article, I've ran across it a couple of times and I'll give it a proper reading. I might not give you an answer after this though.

What you just said is bull. Piracy isn't classed as theft. It's illegal sure but it's not stealing or theft, theft/stealing is depriving someone of a possession, piracy doesn't do this, it creates a copy of the original, the original owner still has thier game.
And how are piraters not justified? There are many reasons why piracy happens. Overpricing for example. A bluray box set of a television series often costs hundreds of dollars. Who in their right mind would pay for that? Why does the customer have to wait for 1 or 2 years for this box set to finally be on the shelves?
Why bother with DRM? It's completely inconvenient and unnecessary, and it's punishing the legitimate customer. Pirates can get around it easily.
Speak with your wallet. It is the greatest way to get your point across. Believe me, piracy is not ruining the PC indusrty, you're certainly brainswashed into believing that tripe though.
I certainly don't buy a game if I feel it doesn't deserve my money. For the record, I did buy Skyrim, I enjoyed it immensely. I did not buy Assassins creed 2 however, I pirated it, because Ubisoft doesn't deserve any money for f*cking PC players in the ass.
It's their product and their service. They're damn well entitled to establish whatever terms of sale they want. The consumer has the right to buy the product or speak with their wallet by walking away, not to circumvent the entire process. Your attitude of "ZOMG IT'S SO UNFAIR, PIRATES ARE JUST!" is just pitiful. If you don't like the price for the service, ****** off.
I can see where your getting at, that what I am doing is in your view immoral or whatever. But no I ain't pissing off. As the consumer, I want the best for myself. Piracy offers a better service in every way to EA's scandalous customer service, Origin spyware and Ubisoft's DRM. I'm just looking out for MY best interests, because that's what a consumer does. If EA, bioware or Ubisoft were good developers, I would respect them and support them with my money.
Call me an **** if you wish. I don't care.

And if we all followed this crap logic, we'd be living in anarchy. The point of law is to restrict such activity, including self-entitled brats who claim that because they want something, they can take it at their whim. As I said, ****** off.
