It's not that big of a deal, it still lets me play when I reset, but this has always been a problem for me playing Mass Effect 2. But now the Mass Effect 3 Demo also has the same problem.
What causes it? Is there a way to stop it from doing it?
Playing on Xbox 360.

In Mass Effect 2 i would press the middle Xbox button, and then just close it and it would work fine.

Same issue here, really annoying. Popped up in ME2 for no reason, requiring me to go offline to import a save from me1. Guide button trick doesn't work, hence multiplayer invites from dashboard get stomped.
Fix it already, it seems to be an issue with the EA accounts. Please.

I am having the same problem. Ever since I imported my save game to ME2, I've had "A sign-in change occurred" pop up and force me to restart in both ME2 and the ME3 demo. I don't know how a saved game would influence the demo, so it seems like an EA account issue, but EA support has been no help at all.

I have. It's early days so not sure if it is a permanent fix.
I have 2 gamertags both linked to my EA account.
What I did is while on the dashboard I signed into my second gamertag.
I then loaded ME2 until it signed into cerberus network.
Once it was signed into the Cerberus Network I pressed the Guide button then pressed X to sign out.
After I signed out I got the sign-in change error.
I then signed into my main gamertag and waited for the game to sign in to cerberus network.
Once it had signed in to cerberus network I exited to dashboard. Now
Whenever I start ME2 or the ME3 demo I don't get the sign-in changed
error.
Could all just be a temporary fix or even just coincidence but it might be worth you trying.
EDIT: Never mind, This only worked temporalily.
