Hi,

When I try to install the demo and click on ready to install (with origins of course), I keep getting "installing..." then after like 30 sec, I get the message "ready to install" again. Sometimes I only get "installing" for 8-10 sec before getting ready to install again. I've been trying to install the demo for 5 hours...

So far I tried everything I could...Uninstalled origins (with uninstall tool), deleted the origins game folder, downloaded the game again (like 4 times)...nothing's working. I even tried to delete AVG anti Virus...

Anyway, thanks for helping me!

Try disabling anti-virus & firewall, then run Origin as administrator.
(be sure to also disable that garbage windows firewall, you won't believe the amount of legit programs it blocks)

You could also try to manually install it (not sure if this is even possible, never attempted it myself)
Go to your origin download folder (can be found in the settings menu in origin, for me it's D:/EA Origin/cache/{user email}/Downloads)
Maybe you can find a setup.exe there that can be run as administrator =/

Not only I disabled my anti-virus but I actually removed it. I also already tried to run as admin and disable windows firewall...not working, still stuck on "ready to install"

I'm looking into some ways to allow you to play this demo (although you're not missing anything lol).
Probably won't be able to fix Origin though, it just doesn't want to work for some people... -_-

Probably a good idea lol, I had no idea ppl actually use UAC :o It's so annoying.
Anyway, you'll have to fix origin I'm afraid... Tried to pack all the files in a .7z but that won't work since you still need origin =/

I'm not sure what you can do tbh... the last people who had this problem fixed it by doing a clean format. -_______-
One could ofc wait for pirates to fix it for us... as they always do.

So I have to format to make Origins work? Awesome software.

Ive never had any problems with any games in the past 15 years. I only remember having issues with warcraft 1 floppy disk :/. So, the problem isnt me, its origins...
