After playing through Mass Effect 1 again, and listening to what Vigil said about sleeper agents, I've come to a conclusion that the Illusive man may be a sleeper agent for the Reapers...I may be wrong, but its possible. Maybe, Saren wasn't the first organic Sovereign contacted?? Maybe The Illusive Man wanted you to save the collector base so the Reapers had another way to access the galaxy through the Omega 4 relay.....like I said, I could be wrong....
what do you folks think??

I know it's a relatively popular theory, but I hope not. It would just be a huge copout if they said "oh, yeah, well, everyone with a different opinion of you is actually indoctrinated." Why can't TIM just have his own agenda? If he hates us in ME3, then let it be for his own reasons, not because the Reapers got to him.

Hate or not, TIM is not a fool to ****** off Shepard unless he was heavily influenced by the Reaper.

I agree..... tbh, if The Reapers did indoctrinate TiM, then why did he approve the Lazerus Project?...wouldn't make much sense!!

TIM want to Resurrect Shepard to fight both Collectors and Reapers. TIM always loves back plans to his back plans. He is a big picture planner. Even if he should be indoctrinated by the Reapers, Humanity would surive far beyond him regardless if he lives or dies. Thus he would have Shepard unite both humanity and aliens together to fight the Reapers.
So During ME3, he and other key members of Cerberus was indoctrinated by the Reapers(pss I do think it is bad writing on bioware part).
