Even though I think the negative reactions often are over the top, it is a response that we can see wherever and whenever there are a perceived loss of quality. (attention to detail, stripped down contently etc). Unfortunately it seems to be a general trend. It comes across as corners are cut to make more dollar, something you can only do when people are already hooked. Because when you are hooked and attached, you might complain and be angry, but you still buy it so you get the entire experience/story. The alternative is feeling you wasted all that time playing the prior games.
