In a video, you can see a guy with a scope on the Mattock, and it looks really ugly and tacked on. www.youtube.com/watch
The SP gameplay they showed, with adding the extended barrel onto the Mattock, looked a lot cleaner and more believeable.
Can someone comment on whether or not the scopes and all look better in the full game? e.g. put in the place where all the assault rifles used to have scopes?

That is the version I scopes, the later variants (II, III, IV, etc) change in appearance, reticule stays the same though.

And version I are the ones that look like someone stuck a sodacan on top of the optics housing and not inside it?

First scope in my experience are like red dot style. I've got one scope III and it looks like a x6 scope.

I don't really remember, but my Pistol Scope V looks more like a sniper scope than the red dot of I.

I mean the physical appearance of the mod and how it appears on the weapon model, not the style of reticule.

The later scope models look better and more seamlessly fit on your weapon compared to the version I scope.
