I'd say the main problem with cover in ME3 is that it's to easy to do.

You can be like 2-3 meters from cover and when you press space it just slides you into it.

Often resulting in unwanted covers because you were sprinting too close to a wall.
Considering many battles take place in tight quarters you really should be closer to the wall for the cover to activate.

Why BioWare seems to hate the L3 & R3 buttons on consoles is beyond me. L3 to sprint, R3 to take cover, and A to roll. Something like that.

Hey,

I just finished playing short demo and I realized that I hate one button for Use/Cover/Storm in combat. Its confuzing to me. I died several times cause I was jumping from cover to cover... Maybe I would get used to it in a longer period, but overall I think it is lame.

agree that's key system really confuzing to me

You really don't know if you will roll or take cover when you are near stationary objects. It can be very difficult to heal when someone is lying near a stationary object. Also, when running I sometimes take cover. Or when a grenade is thrown my way instead of running in the opposite direction I instead take cover right beside the grenade :unsure:! Is there anything official from Bioware about a fix for this yet?  All we really want is to be able to remap all those movements to different keys.

On PC it would be really easy:

E/Q -> Move between cover // E/Q+Space -> roll

The rest exactly as ME2

tada!

Or just let us choose which key we want to remap.  We have plenty to choose from.  But I understand what you are saying though.
