Prelude play was clean, though the husks climbing up the side of the building while Anderson is razing me about forgetting how to shoot made me want to frag Anderson a a microsecond. The child in the duct was both reminicent of Mouse, in ME2 and Nute in Aliens. It was heartbreaking. I'm still curious to see how an import plays out in the prelude vs. a new character since conversation was VERY general about why Shepard was in confinement.
The later combat sequence on the Salarian homeworld went by pretty darn fast on Role Play level, and the dialogue scenes seemed somewhat spliced together. I'm attributing this to the nature of the demo. It was nice to see more of Wrex and some of the old team. Made me want to start quoting Blues Brothers, which is a good thing.
On the evolution of the graphics... I'm reserving full judgement until I can see what it does to my imports' faces, but tentatively I like it, at least for the mobs/npcs. In fact, I wouldn't mind if there was a way for the DA team to er borrow the new graphic engine ME3 uses. So I guess I'm for it.
Other than that, it's going to be a hard wait, considering I'm waiting on the promise of the reward we get (RP wise I hope), if we stayed true to our LI from ME1.... Ah Kaiden, it's good to have you back, and being a major, does he rank her now, because a commander in Naval structure is equal to a major in Marine/Army/Air Force, at least in the US and I think in the UK, so by either one of those Shepard should still out rank him due to seniority.
As for the stuff at the beginning about not referring to rank or saluting, even officers in hock are treated with the respect of their rank until it's taken from them, same with inactive status, as I understand it... But I'm a military buff, so I nitpick, but it's only because I love you guys.
Last but not least: Martin Sheen!!!!! President Bartlett goes evil!
Stay tuned....
