Once i click the play option i get an error message that says "The game cannot launch because of a misconfiguration. Please reinstall your game and try again."

Well i did reinstall and try again and the same message came up. i eve patched to 1.01b or w/e and still the same message.

Ibought and Downloaded the game from GameStop. I did this with assassin's creed and i had no problems with that game. i paid good money for this game and would like to play it. I also had to wait for 2 hours while it downloaded. i'm fairly frustrated atm.

I am having the same issue. Apparently alot of people are but I have not found any info on how to fix it.

Have you tried disabling the sound, and start the game in windowed mode, will all graphics at low?

You can change that in the launcher options.

Could it be that your download was somewhat corrupt on some parts? Maybe a redownload? Enchantment? Enchantment!
