Hi guys, just wondering - will my Multiplayer Demo progress carry over into the full game, or will I have to start over?

90% of Demos/Betas don't carry over, why would they anyway?

So if I played the game just for fun, that would make my life amazing?

Thats cool bro.

Hold in a sec, I thought this game was an RPG, and character progression was meant to be fun? :(

Lol, except tons of people are going to have multiple level 20 characters before they even get the full game! Where's the fun in that? I'd rather start fresh when I get the game, and have my multiplayer character(s) progress alongside my Shepard. Only thing I'm carrying over are character names. Maybe they'll turn out useful somehow...

Either way, the second day you play the game, theres going to be around 10,000 players higher level than you. lol.

Moreso since people will also be playing the campaign in earnest. Won't matter. It was fun having a high lil N7 score while it lasted, but its no big deal.

demos carrying into the regular game is a waste of devs time.

and i guess everyone who played the demo would just skip right onto boarding the normandy when they start there game, then surkesh level will be skippable or something....

nah, i dont even think it seems like a good idea.

I would like for the progress of the multiplayer to carry over... mostly so I don't have to luck into unlocking the Asari Adept again... that's the best class for my play style... and with my luck it will be the last character I unlock when the full game hits... but if it doesn't carry over.. maybe a credit or XP bonus for those of us who played the demo. Either way I can't wait until the 6th

well, at least you have learned how to play, how the gameplay feels, what items to use/buy and what weapons go better with what.

so you can speed up  the progress once the final release of the game is out.

On the upside, this means that the points I put into useless talents will be reset.

I'm still playing despite this, it's a game I can play with my mates on silver and whatnot.

You probably missed out on MMORPGs, then.
Video game industries have learned a bit of psychology, and know how to exploit the Reward system that makes people stick around for more and more.
It's like watching the progress bar filling up.

Anyhow, I'd be happy if you had a "Yes/No" option whether you want to transfer your demo data to the full one or not - considering that would provide both sides for everyone - but that won't happen.
