Brotherhood and Revelations were intended to be like old school expansion packs.

Old school expansion packs sold at full game prices. Brotherhood did add the multiplayer element, which was a big success from what I hear. (I don't do the multiplayer thing.) So as a whole package, perhaps Brotherhood was worth the price. Revelations, however, just wasn't.

But Revelations was marketed as that closure that some fans wanted for such beloved characters as Altair and Ezio. So... I don't know. I just know I don't want Assassin's Creed 3 to be anything like Revelations.

Anyway, the coordinates from Brotherhood lead them to New York, so my guess is American Revolution period for the next assassin's memories.

considering that there was a lot of talk about 2012 and The Illuminati in AC1, I'm assuming this is the beginning of the end, so I think a Gangs Of New York type of setting would be somewhat right.

I think there are 5 places game are can move.

1-American Revolution
2-French Revolution
3-China or Japan or both.
4-Industrial age England.
5- Very little chance of happening but maybe Carribbean/New zeland with a priate setting.

My vote on America tough, they probably move series to a new contient. And they could want to move Desmond's family there too.

Another one? Seems like the COD of the rpg world.

Didn't find revelation that good to be honest, and with Halo 4 coming out at a similar time (probably)...

I lost interest in the series after the second game. Heck, even Revelations was a disappointment.

I liked Ezio, but I'm glad they're moving on from him. Revelations was sort of a disappointment, so I hope they step it up here. I keep hoping for a game in the French Revolution.

My bad.

Its the cod of the

"historical fiction action-adventure open world stealth video game"

Ubisoft just milking it whatever genre it is.

I'd love it if they set it in Industrial Revolution-era London. I can't think of very many (well, any, actually) games that have been set in that time period, and I think it'd be a neat place to clamber around in.

I've heard about this alot, and I know the AC artist have thought about it, as they drew concept art of Victorian London.  I really think the next game has something to do with the Freemasons, as they are believed to be linked to Templar.

*spoilers*

At the end of Revelations they headed to New York, so that also leads me to think Freemasons.

I really liked Revelations. I really didn't expect it to end the way it did, I thought you'd just see Ezio fall in love and die of old age, but I was anxious to see what was behind that door in Masyaf. i got chills during the video of the fall of the last civilization.

This is how I see it.
COD= Shooter game every year.
Dragon Age: RPG game every year
Assassin's Creed: Stealth game every year.

I am a fan of Assassin's Creed but I seriously didn't need Brotherhood or Revelations to live.

Dragon Age has only had 2 games though, and AC isn't a stealth game.

Well, it's a sort of wannabe stealth game. Lol.

Still need to beat Revelations, I got kinda burnt out (Ezio starting out with nothing yet again?), but I'll get through it.

Part of me doesn't like killing these remnants of the Byzantine Empire, and part of me isn't all that interested in whatever that ***hole Altair left behind that door. Altair the "great master" of their order or whatever, he was a dirtbag. Ezio deserves the real respect.

Well, he technically starts out with nothing, but gets everything back (and more) within an hour or two except for weapons and armor. And you can get the best weapons and armor in the game in about another two hours if you know what you're doing. It's not a very long or challenging game. Actually, if you ignore all the collection and messing about, you could probably blow through the main story in about 5-6 hours.

Still, the Ishak Pasha armor is pretty bamf.

We've already done two Muslim countries, a third would be boring. Going to a different continent is what makes the games feel different from each other.

Same view here. I stopped after AC2. Brotherhood and Revelations are suppose to be similar and much smaller. The plot sucks too.

Halo 4 though sounds good expecially since it's suppose to be taking the series in a new direction. The exploration is suppose to be non-linear and Halo 4 is supposed to be huge in scope along with a new dark theme behind it.

This pleases me because Halo was going down the COD route. It just contained better stories.
