I know it was just a demo, but I was dissapointed that most of the dialogue scenes played themself out with the player having little to no control. None of the dialogue options changed the course of a conversation and they had very minimal short term impact. There is even one point where you are boarding the Normandy and Anderson something, where no matter what dialogue option you choose Shepard says the exact same thing. I will be greatly dissapointed if this is the trend for the entire game.

Is it possible that it is only this way for the demo but the game has many more convo choices? That is my hope. I like to see striking differences options during a conversation as well.... Keeping fingers crossed.

Hey, welcome Mass Effect 1.
Dialogue that would have impact was cut to avoid spoilers.
Playing non-import shepard means no flags which means less convos.
