I'm having a issue with the ME3 demo. When I load it up, the message saying its connecting shows up (this is with me doing nothing other than the press any key) and then right after the message clears it freezes and says Mass Effect 3 Demo has stopped working.

I've tried disabling my firewall completly and that did not help.

[edit] Making Origin offline fixed the issue.

But how am I suppose to do Multiplayer then...? Geez, Origin..

I'm going to bump this thread, so EA sees how many people are affected by this. Including me, this isn't completely selfless.

Are you running any other operations that may clash with Origin? It also may be a problem with the amount of people playing on the Demo. I'm sure it must be hell not playing the Demo and I hope the problem is fixed soon.

I'm having this issue as well. The demo worked fine until they unlocked the Multiplayer portion. Now it crashes right after in connects to EA's servers.

Aye, still having the problem myself. Played fine until the multilayer was unlocked. Now, unless I go into offline mode, I can't do anything after it connects to the server.

People have found some fixes for W7 users.. But XP/Vista... No luck.
