So I have Rjames112 and my other one I don't use, well apparently my other ea profile has my ME3 registration on it. So now I cannot get rid of that one so I can use the email and change Rjames112. Right now Rjames112 goes to my hotmail which as all junk and I dont access.

I got through to someone in EA Escalation who would have been more than willing to move my XBox Live Gamertag to the origin account wiht my PC and PS3 personas (on different emails). The one thing he warned me, however, is it would reset all my stats for Mass Effect 3. I would lose all the characters and gear I have unlocked in Multiplayer and possibly other things, like access to the DLCs. What I was told was this is because the Origin ID ties to a specific Bioware ID, and if that chain is broken, everything is locked.
From what the tech told me, this is an issue with Bioware, as they do not have the problem with other games. Based on how detailed the explanation he gave me was, I am willing to beleive him. In the end, it is not worth going back to 0 just to get everything on one account. I will wait till I am not longer playing ME3 on 360 to merge the accounts.

Today I tried to get this resolved on live EA chat, after the first mention of my problem, advisor assumed that I want to merge, though I wanted to ask him, if there's a way to just transfer my content from one account to another and just deleting the blank account in the end, but what I got is:
He told me that merging accounts can be done through phone call only, gave me the number, my case number and told me to gtfo :|
Is it worth persuing? Calling them and trying to get it done? It seems like almost too much pain in the a** :/

Many years later, and this just happened to me. I had one account until I needed to register for Mass Effect and could not access my old account, so I created a new one. Later I recovered my old account and now I want to merge them. Sigh....
