It's not ment to be played alone. Even the singleplayer isn't ment to be played "Shepard only".

And they did say themselves that it's going to be SUPER hard if you play it alone. I know it sucks, but just play public games difficulty set on "bronze" and it's fun and carefree deal.

I think too they should add something with the ranking system where you can team up eith people that's your or around your rank. That's all I have for now with my complaints another things please do something about the random unlock thing. Thank you.

MP isn't really meant to be played solo.  There are some classes, like Infiltrators, that can do moderately well 
on their own, but you end up shortchanging your teammates because you're not there to help them defend stuff, take objectives, rez, etc.  This becomes even more apparent at higher difficulty settings.

I solo'd bronze as an infiltrator but the amount of time it takes compared to grouping with other people isn't worth it.

Indeed OP, the missions are extremely difficult solo.

My suggestion for a solution would be to scale enemy numbers and health to match the number of players in a match.

Or possibly add AI bots to fill in the empty slots. Bioware put a ton of work into the AI (friendly and enemy), and it shows, so I'm surprised filler AI wasn't in to begin with, but w/e.

Which is strange, in one of the earlier trailers, Shepard, Garrus, and Liara were shown fighting in the slums map against Cerberus troops, so I'm wondering if those maps might be playable in campaign? And if so, wouldn't the friendly AI already be pathed (or navmeshed?) to work on the map?

Seriously people, this is called MULTI-PLAYER for a reason... not SOLO-PLAYER... not SINGLE-PLAYER... MULTI, which means MANY... more than one...

It's supposed to be difficult; the mode is not meant for solo play. It's like saying ME3 is hard when you purposely send your squadmates on the far end of the room and disable their power usage and then go off and try to kill everything on your own.

Sure, you can play that way, but it's not meant to be played that way. If you don't want it to be as hard, play with other people.

Because people would rather complain than realize that single player is for a single person and multiplayer is for multiple people.

I'm a level 30 something right now which pretty good. I been playing Bronze, I tried Silver, Silver and Gold is like Hardcore, Insane.

Mass Effect is my favorite game, series. I want it to be enjoyable not frustrating and hard like some games are. It's like Space Marine in ways while playing solo you can't survive not even around. That's not enjoyable. It be wonderful, great if they could tone down the setting for the FULL GAME.

The single player experience (shepard's story) is the part of the game where you can play solo and do well. The multiplayer mode is meant for multiple players at once. It's not difficult to prevent solo players from having fun, it's difficult because going solo has never been recommended.

However, they did open multiplayer up for single player simply for fun, and because we all know at least one person who will probably attempt solo'ing gold for the next 3 years after launch.

In the event that Mass Effect 4 is released I would like for you to add a single player campaign for multiple people to play AND also a multiplayer mode for just a single player.
