While theyre at it, they should tone down SP so you dont even have to play at all. Use Kinect and tell the game "I Win." roll credits.

How many Waves can you last playing Solo in Co-Op?

They should make the Difficults like in The Sigleplayer campaign. I want a fun Co-Op where you can enjoy it even if you have no one to play with.

I know some plays while playing online are good and others bad. If your a High rank and the rest are low it kinda make you feel you need to play with those who are around your rank. Most games that I play after finishing one game no one sticks around.

I have a feeling that will happen in the real game. When I want to play ALONE it's difficult, not fun well like after couple rounds. It be great if they can do it. Please people just think of it.

So some of you are saying that you rather always play with people than yourself, you take it seriously not for fun? What if you don't want to play with others?

Where can I find this glorious sonnuva b*tch?

On topic though, I'm feeling a lot of face palms going on around this topic. It's obvious you want an easier difficulty to play multiplayer solo on, but then why do you want to play it solo when you have a perfectly good, deeper and story driven single player campaign to play? The mode is called "multiplayer" for a very good reason, and its immense difficulty is justified by the fact it's meant to be played with others.

If you want to just run around levelling up your character fighting endless hordes of enemies, stick on the Action mode in single player on normal difficulty. The story flies by and you're getting your action, it's essentially multiplayer with more maps and some cutscenes.

I get what you're after, but you're essentially complaining about getting something you already have. BioWare aren't going to change their multiplayer to have a much easier difficulty in a part of their game meant for co-op. If we all have that option, we'll breeze through it and reap so many XP that it'll basically feel like cheating.

Once again, if you want to play solo, play single player. You're really missing nothing from the multiplayer. Sure there's the Galaxy at War mechanic, but that can still be maxed out in the campaign.

For the sake of debate:

There are 2 difficulty levels above bronze, assuming that bronze was made too easy (which it doesn't have to be).  They could simple scale the numbers in accordance with how many people are playing.  It's not a difficult concept and I'd imagine that it wouldn't be easy to implement, as there are games that already do so.

The OP's argument could have been stated as him wanting a single player survival mode.  I wonder if there would have been as many opponents then.  Or if it's so "strickly multi-player/co-op" then why didn't they make game hosts sit in the lobby until at least a second player joins?

The fact that they allow you to play by yourself is enough to merit conversation regarding the subject and I'd imagine that OP won't be the last to raise the question.  If it wouldn't hurt the people who have no intentions of playing the gametype singleplayer anyhow, then what's the problem?  If it would hurt them, then is the a solution that would work for both parties?  That's my take on it.

If there are people who can solo all of the stages in the bronze maps, that seems like a decent counter-argument to his wanting it easier.  I've only tried briefly, but it did seem insanely hard (something maybe better suited for silver?).  I do plan to try again.

Playing the game in action mode wouldn't even enter the equation.  That would be a useful suggestion for somebody wanting less roleplaying.

Unless I'm mistaken, your rank is the cumulative levels of all of your characters.  You'd be better to state the lvl, class, weapons and tactics that you've tried with.

I finish it by teaming up with other people. You should give it a try.

If youre interested in Single Player, there is an entire "Single Player" mode that BioWare was gracious enough to include in Mass Effect 3. Word has it that you can actually choose between that and Multiplayer. Amazing.

I know there's a Singleplayer. I know I be playing that alot as well Mulyiplayer. When I want to play Co-Op Singleplayer I want to enjoy it and have fun, not be frustrated. I hope they tone it down so it's not too difficult. Have any of you tried playing it solo? If so you know what I'm talking about.

Its meant for co-op play. the enemies are balanced for co-op play, the classes and powers are balanced for co-op play. So why would anyone want to play it by themselves? There really is no point. If you are getting frustrated, then perhaps you should take the hint.

If you want to play it solo, then be happy with whatever wave you can make it to solo, instead of trying to demand BW change something they put alot of work into, just to humor the few people who dont want to play the mode as intended.

I'm not ****ing, I'm being polite trying to be. It be nice if they can do before they release the Full Game. I play solo because I enjoy playing by myself, it's our money we are putting into. It be nice everyone got something not just some group of people. They should look into and lower the difficulties. I'm tired of repeating myself.

I too play with others, online I though prefer playing Solo. I will play with others, they need a Mute option too like when your not using your Mic.

I know others have already tried to help you understand this, but hell, I'll give it a shot as well.

You aren't supposed to play multi-player alone. Getting upset when you lose is like getting upset when you touch a hot stove and are burned. There are certain things that you cannot do, and when you try to do them, you will fail or otherwise face punishment. That is how the world works.

I guess so, I don't whine when I lose. I usually play for fun. I don't take it seriously like some do. I WANT IT TO BE FUN AND ENJOYABLE EITHER WAYS!!!

Ok I'm fairly certain that at some point it was brought up but yes, there are games that feature multiplayer in which playing solo is readily available. It would also make sense to add in a single-player survival mode, because it has many features that are not available in campaign (such as a few other races being playable) and in general the combat varies slightly more than campaign, because the campaign is a specific story rather than a fight 'til you die experience. Including a single player survival mode would also be enjoyable for those who may not have access to online features (using Xbox for example) that Xbox 360 players who may not be able to afford live due to financial issues or if the internet becomes disconnected, which isn't impossible. Also, to the people who continue to try and explain that multiplayer is strictly multiplayer, please note that you needn't say that anymore, as several of you have already. Thank you for reading.

I apologize if I sound rude, but is english not your first language? I don't quite understand what you mean. perhaps mis-communication is the reason that other people kept becoming confused?

I want to play co-op with 1 friend or 2 but not with complete strangers. Mulitplayer (NOT MMORPG) can imply 2 people should be able to play the co-op mode fine. I just have 1 friend who will be buying it and if I wanted to play with strangers, I'd go play an MMORPG (I hate those). But L4D can be played with 2 people, I do it all the time. The Rainbow Six games too and even Gears of War 3 can. At least they were a studio that is professional enough to allow the option to play how you want. It is NOT an MMO. Duo is cool, that's what I want. I won't play with strangers though, not everyone is into that So as long as two players can do it, I'm fine with it.

How come some of you dont want the settings to be toned down? So you want it to be frustrating and Challenging? How bout go try playing it alone on Insane?

Duh, ofc we want it to be challenging. If you want it to be easy when you solo, how do you think it will be for 4 people playing together? Boring, at best.

What you could ask for is that bronze is toned down when there's only one player in-game. But I'm pretty sure people want the game to be challenging :P, specially when there's no story-mode online; all you got is the challenge. Hello kitty online is that way --->

I am understanding what they are saying. If its meant to be hard than not everyone will enjoy I guess it not suppose to be fun and enjoyable. That what it sounds like. I do well while playing with others. If you just want to play yourself it's frustrating, annoying at times. I can do FireFight Solo, I can do Red Faction Solo as well others.

Mass Effect is my favorite game, series. I want it to be enjoyable not frustrating and hard like some games are. It's like Space Marine in ways while playing solo you can't survive not even around. That's not enjoyable. It be wonderful, great if they could tone down the setting for the FULL GAME.

Dude, I nearly soloed Gold the other day, got past the objective on Wave 10, and died. THAT is frustrating and as long as you play on Bronze and Silver soloing should be easy.
