Played the ME3 demo. Love it & hated. Here's why.

I overall liked the demo. And because it IS a demo, I know there will be a lot of funk with it. The multiplayer is actually a lot of fun, and, maybe you may not agree with me, but I would like to see some future DLC maps for it.

From my analysists, these are thing I found wrong with the demo, and just pray they're not actually in the full game. I say that because Dragon Age 2, Battlefield 3, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Medal of Honor, have had the same issues in their BETAs/Demos. Kingdoms of Amalur has so few things that the BETA has, that is not in final release, which I thank goodness (great game so far).

-The walking animations are a disaster.
-There seemed to be little going on in the audio & also audio sounded very low.
-Getting shot while in cover. I am 100% positive no one is flanking.
-Button used to perform actions, rolling, cover, have gotten me nearly killed on numerous occasions.
-A lot of the texturing such as armor, water, and other surfaces look awful.

I hope it's an older build.

Now although I am worried that these things would make Mass Effect 3 very bad in its own addition, I am still 100% as excited for the actual release and still have my Collector's Edition reserved.

Regarding the "very little happening in audio" comment: There is a setting in the audio options for "Dynamic Range". Try setting that to "Low" and let me know if it helps. It'll compress the mix, bringing up the quieter details and making the louder sounds less loud.

Meaning depending on your audio setup (tv, surround sound, headset, etc) will make a difference depending what setting you put it on?

It does the same thing regardless of what setup you're on, but in general the "low" setting is for small speaker setups.  I find it's very dependant on personal preference though.

I love the dynamic range option.  I found that ME2's audio was a little
too compressed at times and I'd get a lot of ducking during the more cluttered scenes.
Plus it reduced the epicness of some scenes because the louder parts got
squashed.  So again THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

That's great news!  It's something we haven't done before so it's nice to know that people are finding it useful.
