I tried that once with ME2 and I realy could not play it through, but when I played one of my saves I could play through it,(even though I realy hate ME2 I mean hate it. It is no ware nere as fun and iteresting as ME1). I do not think I will play ME3 once on defalt.

I like the idea, though this is what I'm gonna do: First play with my save import, than I'll play a default game to see whats missing.

I got you beat. I have 24  Sheperds to import. Well i will be by ME3 release as soon as i finish my last couple of playthroughs. Easy really 4 Sheps for each class in the game 2 male/female and both paragon/renegade. Figured that would cover pretty much every base for 3 lol

Everyone pretty much survives the SM accross the playthroughs apart from 2 femshep saves where i really really had enough of Jacob and sent him down the pipe to his doom. All romance options covered, every ME2 romance completed with no romance in ME1, every ME1 romance cheated on with new squadmate in two and several plays with only ME1 romances....well apart from Jacob his romance dialogue makes me physicly sick

Even have one playthrough where i tried to kill everyone except Garus and Tali, mind you unloyal Grunt, Zaeed(as an aside proof that Zaeed is the ultimate badass and should have a massive role in ME3!) and Samara still came back in one piece lol

So to stay on track i might try Mr P's suggestion for my 25th play of ME3

This is a much better Idea but I have over 40 saves on ME1 but one 16-17 of ME2.

What about romace in ME1 then kill that person on virmier? have you done that?

Hey Chris,

Is their anything like game unlocks for beating the game or achieving in game goals that carry over into new playthroughs? That might make this even more worthwhile.

 I might try this actually. I might try and have my first playthrough really messed up complete reaper victory so when I import my saves consequences feels so much more important having seen what happens without taking said actions.

interesting...
but it would get all mish mashed in my head...I replayed an entire canon experience from mid jan to now because after my initial canon, i decided..lets be more good, lets be more renegade, let me kill samara and take morinth...and it all turned into one big blur.

Now repeat playing my canon again has my decisions and the emotions all fresh in my head. I cannot risk losing it.

Yep twice in fact once with Ashley and once with Kaiden lol Let go of my survivor guilt in 2 though and hooked up with Garus and Jack lol

Some of the playthroughs i also swopped out paragon/renegade endings ie spared council as a renegade or toasted them as a paragon, same reversal with collector base etc. The one consistancy i do have in all my play throughs is i always ensure i get reinstated as a Spectre in 2. Although may be worth adding to my list and telling the council to get lost lol

Maybe i should channel DA2 Hawke- "The Council can sod off..."

I did that in one paragon and a renegade it was fun, but I can not do the DLC's for I do not have them.

you are insane no doubt about that, I will be completing my first playtrough on my character wich I made first when I got ME1, I played that same char first time in ME2 also AND I will be playing that char first in ME3, this is the character where everything was new to me, I didnt know the outcomes of my decisions back then and I am more than eager to see how it all plays out in ME3, however I have never started a new default char in ME2, allways imported chars so I might make an exeption in ME3 and play it sometime as default shepard

I'll probably do that with a second playthrough. As that is what I did in ME2 and it made me notice things were missing or different because of the defaults. I'll play through with the save I specifically made for this game and then play a second time through with defaults. I suspect if it's like ME2 then I'll have some instance bonuses on the second playthrough.
